Not much of a "rooster tail" from these boats. In Mish-Gin where I grew up, powerful boats produced huge rooster tails, and boaters would get in trouble with Johnny Law if they "hosed a bridge" like these guys are doing....

Friggn 100mph minimum the entire race.. jeez.. fastest ive been on the water ever was 87mph and that was fast as hell.. fastest ive wrecked on the water was 72 and i skipped for a whole 20 seconds seemed like before i dug in and splooshed.. had a jet sky i was hitting top speed and front decided to take flight and came back down sideways enough to eat shit..

It must sucks so much to be a "co-pilot" in this. You risk your life but don't get to drive, you just sit there like dead wait looking at the pilot having all the fun :))).

A couple of squeaky bum moments there 😂 👍 4:25 had me looking away!! Amazing stuff though, I don't think people appreciate the focus you need to drive a jet boat especially at crazy speeds like this in choppy water, with obstacles to watch for too! I've driven newbie little ones, they're great fun but so so different from a prop driven boat

I've done about 140 kts (~260 kph) on water. It was aboard (LOL) the neighbour's float plane (a good one, with a big engine). He took me for a flight, and he did a very high speed, very long duration extended touch-and-go, skipping across a nearby lake at an indicated 140 kts. Then, for the icing on the cake, he slammed the throttles forward, yanked the stick back, and took off near-vertical up to 1000-feet before leveling off. Yeah, float planes are very very very fast boats.

I don't know how they fit in that boat with balls that big. Awesome

Dam I do about 50 kmph I think that's fast for water. Going 50km on water feels like you're going 100km. Can't imagine going over 200 km in a wake so long.
