We all drop stuff as mechanics. I was in the Air Force and the U-2 pilot had a bad altimeter. He was strapped in I reached over him to unscrew 4 screws and I dropped a screw. That scrubbed the mission and we had to pull the ejection seat out and part of the floor board to find the screw. So chit happens

Why the car is so dirty? I had problem of car saying that key is not in range. Problem was in 12 v battery the voltage was low around 9 V. Once I charged it to 12.5V all was OK!!!!!

just did this and luckily I had already ordered a new PCV Hose for this car months earlier. Lucky I did because the valve in the bottom part.( near the turbo) eas completely gone. When you take that hose off if you can blow air from that bottom part then the valve is missing. On the new one when you look in that bottom part of that hose connector, you can clearly see the orange valve. You can actually suck through but you shouldn’t be able to blow through it. I simply took the new PCV hose. I got and cut the ends of it off to use instead of the old one. Not expensive at all on eBay or wherever anyways, I think this is something important people should know. If you did it without replacing the bottom part of that hose then you are probably missing that valve also. Should be easily remedied and replaced.

Penso que no meu caso não seja essa a solução, pois o meu comando só deixou de funcionar após a substituição da bateria. E o segundo comando funciona perfeitamente, no entanto o comando principal nem sequer abre as portas. Isto só aconteceu após a substituição da bateria.

Tenho o mesmo problema, mas o meu comando só deu erro após a substituição da bateria do comando. Após a substituição da pilha, o comando nem sequer fecha e abre as portas. No entanto dentro do carro, após várias tentativas ele acaba por trabalhar, mas dá sempre o mesmo erro.

Thank you. I am facing the same problem now. Do you mean that you took the connector out? Just wonder how did you connected the two ends of each wire. By the way, I ever measured the resistance between green wire and yellow/green wire. The reading was 57 ohms. It indicates some continuity between the two lines. Is it normal or not? Your response will be appreciated.

You’re supposed to let the JB Weld cure for at least 15 hours ( a little more if the temperature is cooler ) before reconnecting the fitting on top of the hole. 24 hours to be fully cured. When you put 5he replacement valve cover on I hope you put RTV in the “ cracks” on the passenger side of surface the valve cover sits on or you will have an oil leak ( UA-cam replacing a valve cover on a Cruze ( Encore, Trax, Sonic ). The 2019 Encore has a different attachment point on the turbo end. There’s actually an outlet 90 degree bends and it attaches to the turbo intake tube that comes from the air filter box.

You blew it on the check valve. The longer piece of tubing is put on first and the shorter piece of tubing goes at the. Other end as the fitting on that end is slightly pointed down as the check valve needs to be slightly pointed down also.

What's the fuse that goes to that control unit? I'm just wondering whether pulling the fuse might do the job to reset it rather than removing the glove box (which I would like to avoid)?

He Haw for the win. That is the difference from the DUI repair and a trained and experienced professional. DUI people I love for at least trying. DUI people do not have the resources of the accurate wiring diagrams that follow the schematic. Not a difficult problem to begin with. Thanks, the old school guy.

I'll say this. I was about to take my car to the junkyard because all the mechanics gave up on it. No one could fix it untill I saw this video. I fixed it myself I didn't bother souldering the bus connector I just got a new one for 80$. GOOD JOB SIR.

I am having trouble with my dodge journey, it shot off as I was driving 2 different times and it wouldn’t start, i left it alone for like 10min, and then it started back up. and I get codes u0002-88, u0100 and u0101, the battery was recently replaced, I’m hoping it is just a loose wire somewhere by the battery. I’m gonna have to do some troubleshooting. Thanks for your video it’s the only one that has given me a place to look 🤘🏼👀👍🏼
