@@markfarr4889 we don’t have anything that intricate yet even though we should. I really just go over from the day on what sold in store and then remove from the online platforms! Its mostly just our breakables that are listed online!

And then vise versa, if it sells online we will take the items off the shelf. Day to day

@@vabmo4025 that’s where it’s even crazier. I Storage won’t reach back out to us. They said they would get back ahold of us in 72 hours then we called back again and they said the same thing and won’t get back in contact with us. I’m assuming it will take a Lawyer to get them to take it seriously. Also, we had to pay in cash. The one thing I wish I did do was make a police report. I was just so upset there in the moment and was ready to make the four hour trip back home, but I should’ve made a police report. we never got it resolved. on other UA-cam videos, people had good evidence to support that it was staged. That’s why I’m gonna be wearing my GoPro during every interaction throughout the whole process. every storage unit and I do now

@@vabmo4025 thats exactly what probably happened we think the manager either did it, or allowed the person who rented the unit to do it and they split the money. But either way i think the manager was involved. Because right after the purchase he disappeared.

@@eldermillennial2000 in a perfect world I would do it minutes after selling in store, but I’ve been having a hard time keeping that a habit lol, usually I’ll just go through nightly and remember back on what sold that day

There is alott that goes into this price difference. Starting with the fact that our small town only has a few thousand people here, vs online there are millions of people. Which in return makes it alot harder to sell things in our town. Our in person store cost me $3500 a month after bills and rent. So we have to sell stuff to make that payment, Im not doing this for free so im not going to sell it for $45 online. When it sells online for $125. The small population of people in our town will get a better deal because bills have to be paid. Things sell very well online for us, Vs the store.

@@lynnpatrick4023 Thank you! Clothing resale shops can do really well i feel like. We have lots of them in our town! My personal opinion would be to price less than posh and ebay comps but more than your average thrift store in your town! Especially if you have really nice inventory. And then always take in account of the environment of your shop if you do open one! Make it look really nice (invest in wood hangers/nice racks/specialty tags)!

And yea we try to get very nice stuff so we have tons of antique stuff and also thrift stuff. Youll get more thrift stuff from storage auctions. But then we also do other auctions/ estate sale where we pick items individually, and thats where we get our nicer things lol

That can be true! I have Schreiner and Juliana pieces sitting on my ebay store right now and those have sat for a couple years. I think its about just catching the right persons eye!

@Quinn.Cooper Thank you for being gracious. I was feeling very frustrated by people literally low balling on every single item that is high-end, which costs me quite a bit of money to buy. Ebay generally hasn't been so good to me like I am seeing for other youtubers. Good for you! Sorry for being so grouchy. All the best to you! Now, I just reject all the crappy offers instead of considering/countering them.
