Hello ,.. New Sub'er.,,..having a Stutter,. Does suck,. I hope it gets better for Yu,... Take Care of Yurself,.
Streng man
I’ve just come across this video while lying in my bed in England, I have a very bad stammer and it’s ruined my life, I was looking on UA-cam for help or to find people who feel how I feel every day, worried about the the day ahead, hoping they won’t make a fool of themselves. Thank you for your videos, I could never have the courage to do this ❤
@@AnthonyParsons-f2u thank you. Goodluck to you.
if life was like a video game, living with a stutter is like playing on god mode
I think you mean living without a stutter… but I agree. my life would be so much better if I didn’t stutter. I’m 37 and have no money and a shit job. if I didn’t stutter I think I would be soooo much further ahead in life.
@@lancelambert87 sorry I meant god mode difficulty. My stutter is quite severe and everyday feels like an uphill battle
Stuttering makes life hell
I am 71 years old, and have stuttered since early childhood. Based on my own experience and a very large amount of reading about stuttering over the years, I would say the following. In many instances, children who begin stuttering in early childhood (age 4), for reasons not fully understood by experts in this field, will permanently cease stuttering WITHOUT speech therapy. In my opinion, it depends in part on the parenting abilities of the parents, the degree to which they have educated themselves about raising children who stutter, overall conditions within the home, bullying at school, and the severity of the biological basis of the child’s stuttering. If your child’s stuttering does not improve AND IF it becomes a problem, I recommend speech therapy. If the child seems to “be ok” with his stuttering, it is probably best to not obtain speech therapy, just try to be a good parent. If you do decide to obtain speech therapy, try VERY strongly to find a speech therapist who has been trained how to treat stuttering, and few of them have. A better option is an approach that does not treat the stuttering, but the child who stutters. This is sometimes call the “holistic” approach. The “holistic” approach may also be helpful as a young adult. If a person has stuttered since early childhood and still does by his early 20’s, the continued stuttering and related stressful experiences may have caused mental health disorders. No type of therapy will be effective until those disorders have been adequately addressed. The disorders may be depression, PTSD, generalized anxiety, or some type of personality disorder regarding having normal relationships with other people. If so, he needs help from a psychologist or even a psychiatrist. In either case, try to find one who has patients who stutter. I "have been there".

Stuttering has ruined my life. I can only imagine how better my life would be if i was able to speak normally. I have been isolating myself for like 10 years now since i prefer that over not being able to assert myself and earn people’s respect. Its been hard, lots of mental health issues, and no one seems to understand my situation. I have rejected multiple women that were interested in me because its just too stressful for me. I have cut off relations with my friends because going out with them would only make me feel alone and depressed because i cant express myself fluently and in a “cool” way like they do. I also remember when i was still in school, one time i was reading and my stutter was so bad that i started crying and left the classroom broken. Sometimes i wonder what i did to deserve this. Life has been hard, its just unfair..
I’ve been in those situations too my friend. I’m sure a lot of us have. I have a security job I’m way over qualified for and it’s a shit job but I do it at night so I don’t gotta talk to anyone. Also when me and my gf go out to eat she always orders for me so I don’t mess it up. I also don’t answer any phone calls unless I really really have too and I’ll go to another room so no one will hear how bad I speak since it’s way worse over the phone. I’m sorry you deal with it, I know how bad it sucks. I truly do.
My name is siobhàn you do not have to be depressed and I would like to meet you and have you laugh
Do not hate yourself from siobhàn
There is nothing wrong with you, you are a great dad !
Your like the best dad in the world
Far from it … but thank you. I appreciate that. We have a lot of videos up from over the years.
@@lancelambert87 no problem you are
That normal man you are fine 💯
Thank you.
Hang in there.
Thank you ! I try.
I see you brother. It’s there every day, that’s the thing that’s hard. There’s no break. That’s what drives me mad.
Yep it sure makes life way harder and more embarrassing than it should be for sure .
She really loves her dad lucky man
Basketti😂
❤️❤️❤️
Does the speech easy work ?
You guys are so cute! I came across this channel because I saw your video about stuttering and depression and wanted to see what other kind of things you were interested in (not in a creepy way, I promise 😭). I know its been a year but I sincerely hope that things are going well for you all.
You’re a very good dad that’s all you need to know .
This is so inspiring! All kids should have such an amazing person in their life!!!
I stutter and I'm 42. I reject 2 interviews for my dream job as engineer because of my stutter. So stressful 😢.
Bro, you can’t use your phone on a roller coaster that’s dangerous
Ya I learned my lesson… after about a dozen times doing this on different rides my phone flew out of my hands and was never found. I lost soooo many pictures and messages. Never again.
Hang in there....
I'm struggling with the same difficulty....Thanx man... I'm not alone...😢
Wow, that is amazing. You are a role model!
Mr im proud of you for not been afraid to talk in public. I stutter my self. And i never done what you are doing im a lonely person. But some one told me to try this institution called hcri is in Virginia. Is a clinic to help people that stutter im going to try it. And i hope they will help me.
Hey man. I hate speaking in public honestly. I actually went to HCRI, it’s a good school.. I don’t wanna be negative. Just don’t get yours hopes up too much. It does help but only so much and only for so long. In my personal experience. I’ve also had every time of eat device and been in multiple speech therapy schools and also weekly appointments while in the Army with no real long lasting luck. But I wish you nothing but the best my friend. Good luck.
Stutterers SHOULD have a painless suicidal method if they cant deal with it! It's not selfish!
Went to enuf therapy--all temporary b.s.! Had a total relapse----stuttering my face off!!! Will always be suicidal---anyone know any suicidal methods????
I am a teenager who stutters and i find it really hard to speak, some times i even dont speak at all and as an A+ student i am expected to participate in class but i just stay quite even tho i know the answer .Anyways i just want to tell you all that you are not alone .
I was never an A student but I sure was as quiet as I could be and never volunteered to answer anything unless I needed too but I did get my bachelors from TCU in economics. So I’m proud of my self
I think it's so beautiful that the you are so concerned about how this affects Avery. You are gorgeous and I hope you keep communicating. Out is better than in.
I have stuttered for 3 years and came in contact with Dr okouromi treatment on youTube that cured me completely 😍😍😍

Cute. God bless you and your family.
Thanks for the laugh bro hahaha, love
Hello brother, I’ve been watching you for years I’m also a stutterer my self, I tried so many programs and ways but the only thing that really helped me is the Lee G Lovett method. Check it out, it’s not magic but it’ll teach you some methods that really works a little improvement is better than none. Keep it up body ❤👍🏻
Lee Lovett makes one a covert stutterer with word substitutions....and affrmations--his program made me worse off....now I can't speak!!
Did you end up getting the SpeechEasy device? If so, did it help ?
I did end up getting one. It helped for a few months then stopped helping. Which I’ve heard from other people also.
🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰♥️👍👍👍
🥰👍🥰
Try this, I don't personally care about a stutter or a soldier. I care about letting a little girl sprawl over your adult body in her underwear while you RECORD it the PUBLICIZE it. We are all accountable. You are a father. These are dark times. OWN that sh*t and keep private business private
my stuttering was destroying my life and I was very suicidal
I hope this isnt weird to say dude, but you are so damn attractive. Holy cow, what a beefy hunk!
Thank you buddy.
As a person without a stutter and who wants to know more, thank you so much, your video and your insights on the way your daily life is impacted are extremely educational and eye opening for others and to help everyone understand these challenges a little better. You are doing a great thing, thank you for sharing your story!
Hey Lance I'd love to see an interview type vid with Avery. Since your viral video was with her, it'd be cool to know what she thinks of the video, of your stutter, stuttering in general, how she reacts to rude comments made about your speech etc. Just an idea I thought would be cool : )

How old is Avery now?! Time flies!
I'm still young, 19, and I feel like killing myself. I haven't been able to speak normally since I was a small kid, being bullied and being out of touch because of my stuttering. It has changed my life forever, and the worst thing is that there is no cure for us stuttering people. I've been acting like it's all okay and I can live with it, but I can't. It's an endless depression. Sometimes I talk normally, but there are days I can't even say my name properly to anybody. In my entire life, I received zero support, but only bullying or jokes about how I talk, but it's great to see that there are many stuttering people like us. We're not alone in this mess, and there is still a small hope... Your video made me cry, because I know the pain, stay strong...
I wonder how Steve Harvey overcame his stutter. I think he overcame it with stand up,and facing things that feared as a stutterer. I feel you brother. But we can't give up.
I think stuttering is caused by a traumatic event between the ages of 2-7. As a Clinical Hypnotherapist I have found the cause of 100% of my clients. anything from a dog barking in a child's face, to a child seeing some one get shot. This is the spectrum that I have worked with. If any one has any questions about finding the cause of your stutter, please let me know. I think if you can find the cause, you can get to the cure. Thank you for your time
Well I don’t remember a traumatic experience but…… one time I was in maybe 3rd grade and we had to give the pledge of allegiance over the loud speaker for the entire school with a group of 4 of us and we had to announce our name from the main office. All I remember was sayin I’m (L..L..Laa.Laaa.Lan. L …, I can’t say it, I can’t say it”.. to the entire school from the microphone… super embarrassing. That was my first true memory from stuttering.
@@lancelambert87 Not to many people can remember their traumatic event. With hypnostherapy I had found 100% of the cause of my clients. Once you find your cause you can learn how to let it go.
Love ya man! Awesome!!
