Hey again! I just reflashed pi os plugged the gpu in and lspci it can see it …I also installed neofetch and ran it and it’s showing up…. What does this mean because I didn’t run the whole process again since I refreshed and it’s picking it up it didn’t pick it up on unbuntu when I had that running, but I decided to reflash a new pi os and it’s picking it up so I don’t know if that means it’s running or if it just recognizes it

Pretty sure I have one of these still sitting in an old parts bin some place around here. I got mine for free. A friend of mine had one and I mentioned something about them one day and he handed me one and said keep it. I never did find a way to put it to use. I would need a bunch of other old stuff I don't want to hunt down.

Great comparison and it's the reason I wanted to get a MiSTer, I had heard about a new FPGA device called the "SuperStation" which is essentially a MiSTer but has a PS1 themed case and also PS1 ports (Memory card and controller) and on top of all that, is cheaper and easier to set up than a MiSTer, only issue I have with it is that there is barely any information regarding it online but everything looks positive, I was just wondering if anybody is reading this and you happen to own a SuperStation, is the PS1 core more accurate than a MiSTer (Are there any changes to the hardware that improve the PS1 core?) and how accurate overall would you say it is compared to a original PS1.

I have one of these setup with a Q6600 (PICMG 1.3 pcie i think?) in about one of the most old looking 386 minitower cases I could find. It made a half decent sleeper pc of sorts. Though I have not found anything more modern to put in this thing.

I had troubles with BSOD 0x0000007B when using the vanilla Windows XP ISO. Someone on Reddit recommended replacing the NTDETECT with a one from "Windows XP Integral Edition" which did not work for me. But replacing the whole ISO did work. So I followed all the steps from the video but was using the modified ISO.

The only issue with runnng a voodoo card is that you still need another 2d accelerator card. So another ISA slot.

I certainly do! GT3 looks GREAT on your monitor btw. I was able to get a decent 20" CRT tv that looks surprisingly good but is limited to composite. Looking to get a CRT with component video which I'm hoping will be a drastic improvement. That said, I'm really enjoying GT4 on that 20" even with composite video! It feels right. Cheers

If recompile the kernel with the 16k pages, the gpu works fine and it's perfect install; but I can't get steam to install. If I use 4k pages I can get steam to work but I can't get the GPU to install. Am I missing something that is preventing this from working on the 4k pages?

Well I tried it but couldn't get the system to boot with E2B installed on usb. Followed the instructions step by step for downloading the E2B file, installed it on the usb with no issues. Copied my WinXP iso to the ISO folder. When i set bios to start with USB drive priority first I get a hard error stating " the system found an unauthorized change in the firmware OS or uefi drivers. Enter N to continue with teh next boot device. Go to BIOS advanced boot and change the current boot device into other secured boot devices. I tried disabling quick start but that didn't help. I'm running windows 10 on SSD and trying to install XP on a second 1tB Sata HDD. Asus BIOS Ver0601 AMD Radion 3100Mhz CPU, 8gb DDR3 ram. Any suggestions?

Hey man, nice video İ have installed windows xp with this method a few years ago, but now it's borked for some reason. İm trying to reinstall it on the same pc with the same hardware but it never gets past the "windows setup is starting" blue screen, it just blue screen errors after letting me wait there for a bit. İ do have the correct version of easy2boot with dpms and İm pretty sure the correct sata drivers are being loaded. My cpu, RAM and GPU are also tested fine. Do you have any idea what the problem could be?

You just sent the price of this card up, but thankfully I have 3 from some old dell systems. So instead of navigating the registry like you did [thanks for that by the way] I'll just make a reg file. This is a very much appreciated video tip. I will add some heatsinks to the ram, and a fan to the GPU since it will be using both TMUs.
