God created us with imaginations and our imagination should be informed by scripture and this is especially applicable when scripture is silent but also emphatically loud. There is no doubt that scripture teaches that Jesus Christ was the sinless son of God but was also fully man. There's no scriptural or theological problem with imagining him as a child and young man. Especially when this leads to good theological application. Now, as to your NDE comment. I'm sure you know as a believer that you do not need an NDE to enjoy a conversation with Mr Christ as you say. We can simply reach out to him in prayer and know that he hears us and open the Bible and we can hear him. May God bless you.

Well, remember the Bible is silent about these years, but God gave us an imagination when he created us and I believe as long as our imagination is informed by scripture, we can imagine things that are not explicitly mentioned in Scripture. Scripture does teach that Jesus was the sinless son of God at the same time as being fully a human. We can logically assume from that that his childhood and early years were sinless and we know that that sinless perfection is credited to us through belief in him. It is encouraging to use our scripturally informed imagination to consider how often we fail in our early years and yet Jesus was perfect and gave that righteousness to us. Thank you for watching and I hope it was a blessing and encouragement that made you think more about Jesus.

Yes, amen, what a heartfelt prayer of repentance that is an example for all of us. It's always important to remember that the flip side of repentance is resting in the good news of the gospel, that Jesus died and rose again that we can have forgiveness of our sin. Like second Corinthians 5 says, he became sin for us who knew no sin that we might become the righteousness of God in him. He took our sin and the punishment for it and gave us his righteousness. Thank you for taking the time to comment and it is important to remember that when God created the world, it was good. No death, no suffering. It was man that sinned and this brought suffering and death. Sin continued to expand and grow darker and darker. We know that sin effects all and especially children through everything from bullying to sin-filled parents who abandon and neglect. All of us sin and are effected by sin. HOWEVER, instead of standing by, God acted. He sent his only son into the world, leaving a perfect heaven, and suffering with us and for us. He died so God could forgive and restore humans and eventually this world. He often does intervene in natural tragedy, but at other times takes people out of the sin cursed world and on to their home in Heaven. We don't understand his ways, but we can understand the cross and Jesus Love for this world in its brokenness. I, like you, hate to see suffering, but i find peace and hope in the fact that God didn't just allow it or observe it, he entered into to save and rescue those who accept his offer of salvation. There is still mystery involved and we can't answer all the whys, but we can go to the Bible and find good direction and hope.

Totally understand what you're saying. They are hard questions but ones that We as Christians must be prepared and answer with compassion and love in her hearts for those who are suffering.

It is encouraging for us to remember that Jesus was 100% God and 100% man and lived among us so he could take upon himsel our sin since he had none of his own to be punished for. This allowed him to be punished for your sin and for my sin. It is encouraging also to think that he was 100% man in the sense that he knows what it is to be hungry, he knows what it is to enjoy bread, and he is gone ahead to prepare a place for us that we will enjoy because he knows what we are like.
