This is almost in my back yard, and I haven't been on this road! Sounds like a trip for this summer. :)
That van must have cost a small fortune
Suggestion: more time on the mountain less time doing other things
When did you go?

Just subscribed great video you do a great job! Looking forward to following you and your pup!
Great video man! Just found your channel. Nothing like camping out in the snow! I have to ask, how is the Ford Transit? My girlfriend and I have plans to convert a van this year. Thanks for the video, keep up the great work. Cheers!
We love our transit. The AWD is very capable and I have the ability to work on it myself and easily get parts.
👍🏻 👍🏻 👍🏻
15:24 We tied florescent orange ropes to our trax. Each rope ends with a hand-size wood handle wrapped in reflective tape. After placing the trax, the ropes go outward from the tire path. Easy(er) to retrieve. Hard(er) to lose.
Awesome! Thanks for the pro tip! We will have to get some ropes for that.
Just a matter of time before your channel blows up! Great job Subbed!
Awesome video!
CHAD! You are the man! You are a huge inspiration and one of the reasons we are living this life! Thanks for all you do and thanks for watching! Hope to see you out there someday!
Next year if you're in that neck of the woods off of Interstate 90 is the exit for the Hiawatha bike trail. If you look at a forest service map you will see where the buses go down the mountain and there's a road along the bottom along the creek that turns to the left or to the right I do believe the right would be towards the West but don't quote me but either way that road along the creek takes you out to a main road that intersects the Highway 90 so you can go in and out of the Hiawatha area from up above where the tourists go or down below at the exit that most people use. Lots of campsites along the way it's all National Forest so that means it's free. I'm so glad somebody's having fun in my backyard I haven't been there in a while. When you live in Paradise sometimes you get lazy and just become part of it that's why the universe provided me with a 4x4 Sprinter that I'm about to build out. If you all need a place to crash in the Root leave me a message.
Oh my goodness I've never had a van life people in my backyard. One thing I'll throw out there as a new subscriber who's about to hit the road herself. Get you all selves a sluice box and every time you camp alongside a creek put it into the creek the moment you get there and then take it out as you leave as long as it's been in the water for several hours it will have gold in it. The sluice box themselves are only 30 in long 8 in wide and 3 in tall and when you consider the bounty that you can pan out of what you collect at your leisure. I also invested and a battery powered small Shop-Vac to vacuum out the gold of the cracks in the Falls along the creeks everywhere the water drops down and everywhere there's a crack there's gold in it but rather than using some silly handmade suction tubing I simply bought a small shop vac suck the cracks out now pan the gold out at your leisure. I once ran into a man at the campground right here in the Bitterroot doing so. He said he pays for his trip every time he comes here to visit his daughter by simply coming up here twice in a trip. Two trips to the creek pays for his trip. That is how I plan on paying for my fuel on the road.
Welcome to Montana. My Sprinter van is on the way and I can't wait to start building it out with all the tips and tricks and great hacks that I've learned along the way from people like you all. One Tip since your channel is new take the time now to start making a playlist or several and add the videos to the playlists it gives us to subscriber the ability to play video after video like on a binge but you can't do it unless they're in a playlist otherwise UA-cam send you to a different Channel and a different video so if you want us to continue to watch more than one at a time , put them into a playlist. Some people separate categories some people don't.
Bro!! Your excitement! Makes me want to go!! That’s awesome!
