Cognition is not a SLP scope
Firstly, i am a child psychologist with a Master's degree, and second, i would like to share a few key points.
In case if you don't know about SLPs Role. I would try my best to share Slps Role in various areas of life. The effectiveness of cognitive speech therapy is well-documented in scientific literature. Studies have shown that targeted cognitive interventions can lead to measurable improvements in cognitive-communicative abilities. Research supports the use of structured cognitive exercises, personalized therapy plans, and the integration of technological aids as effective methods in treating cognitive-communicative disorders. SLPs conduct thorough assessments to evaluate cognitive-communication abilities. This includes tests for memory, attention, executive function, problem-solving, and language skills .
