just to mention- It doesn't matter any thought process whatsoever needed in a project , it's purely based on function and the cost-effectiveness it holds and be delivered with money-pouring stakeholders ,so AI based permutations would be required and not the soul sucking expensive Architecture degree where pointless little strokes and ideas that means nothing in the practical world except a huge debt , also the technologist ideating what the real world execution would look like are the degrees which should be taught and not these colorful pointless diagrams Columbia GSAP , if I got the name right will only teach a final thesis which resembles mostly a rhino model torn by street dogs, getting recognised by a 60+ old fellow who can't remember what they had for breakfast but have some few worthless inspiration architecture quotes in their pocket earning $450 K pretax so expensive art/architecture school to paint a horrible picture is not as good when compared to the real works which are done on site, any technologist can automate the whole process with the given project requirements, I honestly don't know why these expensive degrees exist, when all can be done by developer with some technical knowledge on architecture such as program distributions and the strategic planning decisions you guys eat all people's money and make a living is what I am saying, and I want that to be explicit, thank you
You SUCK at making tutorials, you voice fry smug
woo yay
steve is such a good instructor, we love him <3
Hello
oh my f'ing god.
life changing part 3 fr
Hi! Are all these UofT-accepted portfolios for the 3-year program or the advanced standing? Is it possible for you guys to show accepted UofT M.arch from those without architecture backgrounds?
Thanks mate :)
Thank you!
thank you so much
thank youuu
you are a legend. thank you
Gracias gracia gracias!!
All clearly talented designers, but very generic portfolios. Perhaps this is just a symptom of the digital world we are living in - everyone is trying to recreate what they have seen on Pinterest or Instagram. It would be good to see something which stands out, something with a little personality.

Years of using rhino and I didn't know this 🤦🏻♀️ thank you for the tips !
MArch I or II?
life changing video fr
nice work, but I find when the projects are dressed too consistently none stand out, especially when skimming through the portfolio. Just my opinion for now though
Hello, thank you for your useful video All my projects are in the metric system and I want to apply to American universities. Do I need to change the measurements to feet and inches?
This is really amazing, but I feel like there's such a gap. My university neither teaches nor expects that quality of presentation, so I've been trying to breach that gap myself. It's definitely proving very difficult.
This gave me such inspiration. Thank you for sharing.
We're glad to hear that! Help support us by sharing with anyone else who may find this useful!
I have no clue how I got here, but this looks awesome. GL with your future endeavours !
Could you please provide examples of successful admissions portfolios from individuals with backgrounds in urban design and planning for the 3 year program?
Sorry, we only do portfolio workshops for MArch students!
nice work
Thank you for such a straightforward but necessary great tutorial!

hey great video buddy, just a constructive feedback. When ppl r looking for solutions of maintaining layers, the specifics of your projects, such as arms and jumps whatnot, is not the most important things ppl r looking for. u know what I mean? thanks again, great video, helped a lot.
🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
George wang's portfolio and his presentation skills were the best
exactly wat i needed
😁
does anyone know whether you used to be able to pan the views by pressing and holding the middle mouse button/scroll wheel and right click to orbit or rotate the views? for some reasons, now when I click or press on my middle mouse button/scroll wheel it acts if I pressed shift or right click it just give the last command I used instead of panning.
I think the best way to reset the Viewports to the origin position is '_4view... you can also set a hot key. Much much faster... options>keyboard>select the hot key you want to use for this commend and on the right just type. '_4View>enter. Close the option dialog box and try it out. Why do you guys who make these videos take forever to get to this point. Just get to the point!!!
Thanks for the advice, solved the probleme instantly
Thank You so muchh!!!
Please drop your Instagram handle i need to ask some questions please 🙏
❤❤❤❤❤
awesome portfolio. thanks.
You saved my work 🎉
This is what I was looking for! Thanks

this is huge. thank you very much for the tips!
wow great video guys, really saved my models!!!!!!!!!
That portfolio is so great. Mine is so vastly different. I’m not an architecture student yet but have worked with designing plans, site plan etc. renderings.
I need help in art portfolio making any one available here?
I watched some of your Harvard GSD UA-cam videos concerning Architecture and Portfolio and am interested in going and applying for admission to Harvard GSD, MArch 1. I have been trying to call the school, Harvard GSD but all the numbers I have tried with the ones on the website are not reaching through. I wanted to ask how can I reach out to them on phone cause I have been trying to get there main number since last week but no result. I also I have some questions concerning admission, is it possible for me to still apply this year into Harvard GSD or I will have to wait to next year to apply or can I apply this year and still enter this year. Thank you for your time.
