My Name is Lisa and I am a 56 year old adventurer that travels with my Chihuahua, “Zeus” and Black Lab, “Lucky”. We "DASH" in a 2023 PleasureWay Tofino on the Ram Promaster 1500 chassis van, Part-time whenever we can. We love to “DASH" out to be in nature and explore the U.S. any chance we get. If cruising or traveling abroad…the “boys” are taken care of by her loving Auntie (who happens to be my best friend and Sister).
Recently lost my job due to “Downsizing” so I’ll be hitting the road FT in Jan 2024.

Off to the Beet Harvest 2024!
Driving for my first WorkCamp experience in VanLife. The Beet Harvest in Drayton, North Dakota. So excited to actually do something new! I’ve always wondered about farmers so this is a good “introduction” into how farmers get paid for their crops.
I don’t know where or exactly what I will be doing but it’s all a process! From what I understand, it’s really good money for the short time that you are actually working. I’ll let you know!

Where is the no noise area? I'll be camping there this weekend.
There is a big field right at the entrance. Anywhere there is quiet BUT, you will hear the “After Hours” music Sat night until 1am. (No matter where you park.). That’s pretty loud. At least during the AM and afternoon, it’s quiet!

I have to say I love that chicken in a can. I remember when I was first introduced to it walking thru Costco snacking my way through the isles during lunchtime😂. The demo person mixed some Mrs Dash and mayonnaise and that was it … I was sold! That was probably 30 years ago. Yikes. I also remember them being $7.99 for a 6 can set … just got the same for $13.

But I just checked on my grocery app, target and Walmart and they are over $5 yeeeesh!! Dang I guess that $13 for 6 was a steal. I should have gotten 3!!

Me too! Walmart is my choice as it’s the best price for full synthetic! $55 with them checking fluids and tire pressure too! Others charge $100 or more!!!!
