As a junk yard worker, I’ve seen a 96 4runner with 889k km and the engine was still working like a clock. It had severe rust and ended up in the junk yard.

The VW Atlas should be on this list and towards the top.

Can I just add that repairs and maintenance on luxury makes like BMW Lexus Acura and Infiniti are much more expensive. I have owned a Lexus and a MB, no more!

I assure you by personal experience the 2011 Kia sportage is RELIABLE as they come. My kia sportage has 312,000 miles and is still running perfectly. And everything still works except for the fog lights. It was manufactured in Korea, too. They definitely this one, right?

These all are unreliable garbage

I've owned escalade. Went to buy a 2021 and the center consol is so wide it bangs against a tall person's thigh and shin bone. The 22-23-24 is no better. I ended up stepping down to Cadillac xt6. Watch out tall people. Escalade isn't as roomy as Tahoe and Yukon.

GET the 07 to 2012-- they're the BEST-- (the V-6 versions ONLY- not the 4 cylinder).. and 2012 is bEST..

Who needs a 3rd rows? I can't help but wonder which families in the North America are having 5 kids these days and actually need a 7 seater?! The average number of kids per family in 2020 in the United States is 1.93. In Canada, the average number of children per family is 1.1. In fact in China, the average number of children per family was 1.18 in 2020. India reports an average of 2.22 children per family. So if we assume the average family is having 1 - 2 kids, why would the auto industry be so focused on 7 seaters? OH yeah it's just marketing bigger and more expensive and more profitable SUV's that no one actually needs Of all the 3 row SUV's that are being sold, I would love to see actual stats regarding how many buyers actually use the third row! I would much rather have a smaller SUV with 5 seats, more fuel efficient, and ultimately more cargo room! That's plenty for 99% of the families out there!!!!

Can't mention the NX without mentioning the Lexus RD350/RD 350H. Almost the same car.

The Hyundai ionic 5 is only a five-seater.

All 7 seater SUVs are cheaters design. Buyers pay 7 passangers insurance for allllll the time(because it is assumed that 7 lives are involved) but in reality these SUVs are just cheating desing, unrealistic uncomfortable for real 7 people and worst worst worst cusion seats, especially 3rd raws. Noone in your family deserves such torturus uncomfortable, worst cusion, very painfull, hurting seats for 2 hours ride to some park or picknic or for some happy family time....Not just one brand and not just this year model. All from past SUVs are cheated desing. Those who bought and used are got fooled. Be smart, buy a car which really makes 7 AMERICAN SIZE ADULT people really comfortable to seat. do not pay 24/7 insurance for 7 lives/seats..
