Medieval Fiddle Dance - Anna Elizabeth
Here's a short medieval-style tune I made up. I used a Baroque bow for this and had a tambourine on my foot.
Hoping to do some improvisation like this at some local Renaissance faires!

Prelude - Anna Elizabeth (original piano composition)
Переглядів 4936 місяців тому
I have written a lot of songs for piano and this is the first I'm sharing. It was intended as a short and simple "test" of the audio quality since I needed to practice recording music, but the more I listened to it, the more I liked it. I wanted the audio to sound like how it sounds when you lay close to a piano and you can hear the hammers gently hit the strings. The video is a simple collecti...

Here is my 1 year update of owning a Glasser carbon fiber violin. It has held up really well since I've owned it, even though it has been dropped several times and treated pretty poorly on a daily basis. Yay!

Judging $100 Violins from OfferUp
Переглядів 322Рік тому
In this video, I critique four violins from OfferUp. Hopefully this video is entertaining and provides some insight about what to look for when shopping for a used instrument. My criteria is basically "is the instrument damaged beyond all hope?" and "would the instrument be worth the price to the average buyer?" The results were mixed. Enjoy!
5 Minutes of Practice - Mozart Piano Sonata 16
Переглядів 439Рік тому
Welcome to 5 Minutes of Practice! I recently finished music school and I majored in violin performance and music education. In this series, you'll see someone with a lot of musical experience practicing an instrument that they are not very good at. Hopefully you'll learn from it or feel inspired to go practice! Admittedly, this video does not showcase some of my best practicing skills, but I th...

My 5 Favorite Instruments
Переглядів 1,1 тис.2 роки тому
I made a video about a year ago about the instruments that I think are easiest for beginners. I love all of the instruments I listed in that video, but they're not necessarily my favorite instruments to play. This is a video of my five favorite instruments to play, reasons why I like these instruments, and some short clips of me playing each of them.

Steel Tongue Drum Lullaby

This is a short song I wrote for the steel tongue drum. It's a really beautiful instrument. This particular drum only has the notes of a C major scale, starting with a low G all the way to high E. Caring for your Violin: Daily and Long-Term Maintenance (Learn the Violin - Ep. 11)
I actually have the same issue. In my case I need something like an allen or torx key. Been to the hardware store but couldn't find any size that fits the screws sockets. Soooo, now I'm ready to use your method !!! Cheers!
I bought mine today at goodwill for 8 bucks, just by chance I love instruments didn't what it was 😂😂❤❤I'm so happy it's missing the bottom bottom string ❤. Thank you, maybe this will be the one I master .

Thank you so much. I have one of these harps and also a corded Zither. I am studying with a lady outside of Munich Germany. I can’t find anyone in my region that plays the corded Zither. I did find an elderly German woman who plays the Alpine concert Zither, but that’s a completely different instrument.
I’m an older lady getting back to my music study in detail. It’s a wonderful to see all of these young people and all of the tools you have. I’m so thankful for people like you on UA-cam. Let’s just say back in my day instructors were mean, mean, I developed somewhat of a terror of learning music, it’s a new day and I am beginning again. Thank you.
You look like a prodigy young lady
Excellent video Anna, thank you!
Hi I am looking for someone that can make easy videos to start play lap harp for my two young kids. can you help them please.
This is fantastic and was perfect in what I was looking for. Way back in ancient times 20 years ago I played cello in orchestra at school for four years but other than that was just a drummer. After deciding 35 is as good as time to start writing music bec the last three months just learning proper exercises and technique I can finally get something on sheet music, it’s very hard to articulate and I spent 20 years listening to the Stravinsky-Zappa-Bartok composer gamut so my mind is practically ruined for most people. I’m still developing proper relative pitch as I can essentially sing out melodies and harmonies for a lot from memory but I am having trouble finding the notes on the keyboard sometimes or finding the proper articulation and notation
You need a lip stick tube of, peg dope. Seriously, that will keep your pegs on place. Easy
my chest hurts seeing your mic capsule protector dent 😢
I laughed WAY too hard when you pulled out the adjustable wrench, I just found a melody lab harp at goodwill yesterday, and was like, damn really out of tune, what should I use? I was like maybe a adjustable wrench Idk. tuned it up and then I saw your video! GREAT MINDS THINK ALIKE!
Not track
We make this lap harp too. We’re in China.
Thank you for the video! I’m 24 and I just started getting into wind instruments. My latest obsession is learning to whistle, I like the idea of being able to make music with nothing. I found your channel from your homemade instruments video!!! I really enjoy your content!!!
i found one of these that someone discarded after moving outnof my college dorm. i’m happy to learn its tunable :3 i want to give it some love. the strings that are in tune sound beautiful, thank you for this!! i didn’t know it was tunable 😅
Thanks
Thank you 🎉🎉❤❤
Thank you! I’m learning cello. I’m dying to try a Glasser cello. 🎻
My wife has the 4-string and 5-string versions. She is a music/orchestra teacher. You could definitely use either one as a cricket bat. Very durable. I thought that the 4-string sounded a bit dead, and it was noticeably heavier than my wooden instrument. She’s happy enough with them for the reasons you have pointed out. They’re great for the classroom environment with teens and preteens milling around.
Go practice #twosetviolin
I used a violin it worked thank you every much 👍👍👍
Anna Elizabeth, you are marvelous!

Great video, can you please share the name/brand of this violin and where did you purchase this from. Was it Amazon?
Always reminds me of tom and jerry ❤
GREATvideo! Any advice on learning the two octave scales? I have to learn them and be able to play them at 200BPM
Thank you
I’m teaching myself the Ukulele and autoharp.
Thank you so much I am just about to build the very same kit so thank you
Did you ever hear of a "socket" n socket wrench.
Have you ever seen a socket set with a piece that adjusts a 1/4” Or less square pegs instead of hexagons? Me neither.

Dance of the Sugar Pulm Fairy but the fairy is possessed.
Omgggg I think I nailed it very good for practice
If you like being close to your instrument, i suggest a harmonica. It doesnt get much more intimate than that 😅 I love that you mentioned melodica though. It is an underrated and underutilized instrument, which is a shame because it has a lot to offer.
The best i love and enjoying alot make more content
The best you are
