Although I believe the historical record of Jews and their migration paths into Europe, which ramped up post 70AD, and which indisputably occurred, the genetic evidence seems to indicate those original Jewish populations mixed with Eastern European Khazars to form a hybrid known as Ashekenazi. There may have been and still may be purebreds of original Jewish stock, but they are rare amongst Ashekenazi who share substantial portion of DNA with ethnic native Eastern Europeans and Turkic peoples. I don’t think it’s helpful when Jews dismiss the genetic linkage and mock those who mention it.
