It's 2024 and this is true. I am applying with Pilot and they had an information zoom last night for AOD adjuster on demand jobs. If you are new they will start you on small claims. Definitely need to have licenses or you can't work. Emergency temp licenses are during catastrophic events like stuff that is really bad so don't sit around thinking you will wait for those to happen.

It is not hard. The key is understanding the concept of insurance, goals of insurance regulation, contracts, how to be of good moral character in this industry. If you are principled you will pass, if you master these four key areas.

This click bait, for everyone who is looking to get into this you don't need to buy a course. All you have to do is contact your state. Everybody here is selling courses. I do this and you can make a lot of money without taking any course to do the research yourself. And FYI: starting off you can make $2500 to $5000 grand a month depending on how many claims you get and what kind of Adjuster you are. It's a level which they are not going to tell cause at the end of the day you buy their courses. Save your money. Contact your local state each state requirements is different.

9:02 currently the money is not there as an ECTA for Big red. I believe they have significantly reduced the use of ECTA’s/IA’s, and by significantly I believe it’s close to zero in auto on the claims side. Not to say Mr. Davis doesn’t or didn’t know what he is doing, but his story is a prime example of why I think Big red cut most if not all of their ECTA’s. No experience, presumably no applicable knowledge of insurance claims other than the 40hr pre-licensing course he took. Essentially I think Bug red realized they were over paying for the labor that was being provided by the IA firms. I think Mr. Davis is a perfect example of this.

Theres 3 types of Claims adjuster 1. Independent- contracted by a firm to work claims for multiple carriers. To get a job in this it will fluctuate on how much deployments you get. You may have none for weeks or more. Its mostly a 1099 job and not the best. 2. Insurance/Staff adjuster- Hired directly to work adjuster claims for one carrier. Usually a full-time job and 9-5 type job or salary based. 3. Public adjuster- youre your own adjuster, you dont work for no company. You work for yourself and policyholder( people that have insurance) call you to fight their claim against their insurance company . You then come in and tell their company they owe x amount based on wht you saw etc in a nutshell.
