How do you keep the separation parallel? Will you be reusing the tappets? It doesn't look like you tracked their position, which surprised me.

But you trick for EPB was the life hack I needed my scanner wouldn't access the EPB so I was stuck until you...such an easy fix after that 20 mins done down the road. Is this for only one side of the rear breaks or both sides? Should you replace the gaskets when you open the emergency break part?

I noticed you were able to simply push the piston back in with a simple c clamp. Does it not require you to use the special tool to twist whilst pushing, like most VW's do?
