Mr Pepinillos POV - Backcountry line
POV on Mr Pepinillos. Gotta say this entrance was some of the hardest mountain biking I have ever done 🤣! Steep, twisted off camber with a right hook on the edge of a cliff. Testing new features is always terrifying. You just don’t know if it works and you can’t ask anyone for speed tips or affirmation. At some point you need to trust your skills and abilities and when you find the committed headspace.. click send. Foggy conditions made for the best filming light possible but dealing with wet rock and tires was dang spooky. I went up the night before and hammered in that sketchy little railing just in case things went sideways. My buddy Alex Jordache was harnessed up on rope for the first hit ready to catch me as well..my riding crew is the best ❤️ I think this was the 4th and final hit of the day and I was physically and emotionally crushed .. @toevs forced me to stop and we ended the day with alpine burgers and beers! Thanks everyone for following along on this silly idea and looking forward to so much more when I’m back from rampage.
