Sonne Wind und kristallklares Wasser, was will man mehr. LG 😎😎😘😘

    What sort of dufus posts a video showing Tope harmlessly swimming around in a inlet somewhere, inter-cut with shots of surfers, beaches and the open sea in Fuerteventura? There's nothing to show that these Tope are under or anywhere near those bathers and the whole thing, the music, the implication, all of it, is fucking stupid! Hit the dislike, thumbs down icon now.

    • @andee7651

      Después de fuertes lluvias hay una gran cantidad de sedimentos en el agua. Esto es normal porque el agua no se filtra a tierra, pero con toda la tierra fluye hacia el mar. Después de dos semanas de sequía, el mar vuelve a ser claro como lo conoces.

    Don't panic people. These are the Common Smooth Hound (Tope are different) a small and harmless species of native shark of which there are many variations in European waters. I expect when he says they are 2m long they would only have been about half of that as things can look a lot bigger thanks to magnification caused by your diving mask and normal size is usually 1.2 - 1.5M. These beautiful sharks present absolutely no danger to humans and make a real treat viewing them when snokelling or diving. You were really lucky to see these andee I'm jealous. Great video thank you for sharing.

    • @andee7651
      @andee7651 7 років тому

      Hey Jake, i'm sorry but you haven't been there. I'm an experienced diver and i know that under water things seems to be a third bigger than real. Therefore i compared the length of the fishes with my body when we were swimming in parallel. You're absolutely right, these sharks were very friendly and uninterested. But they were as long as me, from my head to my flippers. And without my flippers i'm 190cm tall.

    • @jakethekent
      @jakethekent 7 років тому

      Where did I say I haven't been there.....? And not just Fuerta. If you say they are 2m for sure then thats good with me. Sorry if I offended you I was only relating the experience to a similar one of my own. 2m Smooth Hounds makes it an even luckier experience! I only meant to reassure people they are safe. Perhaps lets not mention the Hammerheads and Mako's that frequent those waters. OOOps

    Can someone having scientific background confirm the species of the sharks in thsi video? We are frequently surfing in the Canaries and I just want to be sure it's safe enough and what to do in an 'unlikely' case of attack. Thanks in advance!

    • @jakethekent
      @jakethekent 7 років тому

      Common Smooth Hound. Totally not dangerous and will never attack as you are simply nothing like anything on thier menu and much, much too big for them. In the almost totally impossible event of being attacked by a Smooth Hound Shark punch it on the nose (same with all sharks) if you can, leave the water and get medical help, raise the alarm and get others out of harms way. I won't mention the other sharks that you find there if you are worrried about these ones. ;)

      El tipo de tiburón es Marrajo. Son un familiar del tiburón blanco, pero el Marrajo no tiene historial ( al menos en esta isla ) de ataques. Yo hace poco estuve haciendo snorkel en Corralejo en la playa Waikiki con ellos, habría unos 8-10. Y son inofensivos.
