If anything telegraphed the second mono it maybe was just your willingness to take 3 ore off of Bouncy with the first mono when red was The Terror. Yes it gave you city pop, but with red crushing it may have tipped your hand a bit.

Is it just me or do the 7s tend to come in bunches on 2sheep? I noticed it a touch during the last game of Phantom vs Killa, but it felt very bunched in your last game with Lundy. There’s a few different spots, such as around 1:54:00, where it seems the likelihood of rolling a 7 is higher after a knight has been played or a 7 was rolled

One thing I noticed in the first game around 1:00:00 - if you had ported for a wheat the last turn you would’ve had win in hand. Funny how those small decisions work out sometimes haha

I was honestly surprised you traded pretty loosely with Andzor, even that brick after he already had two cities on the board. I really can't help but feel you kind of slept on his threat level even with It4 looking scary mid-game: considering how Andzor was in prime position to take Longest Road for eight points (with you the only rival who could viably challenge him in that respect) and then just Settle/Pull or Settle/City for the victory. So yeah: I think your admission at 53:10 proved quite correct, hahahaha! XD No worries though, it's improbable to always forecast how the game is going to trend! Just thought Andzor was a pretty formidable force mid-game onward is all. 😇

I really loved the 2 roads up to bait the road plow. I did a similar thing in a critical playoff game years ago (I think it was TSL semis if I remember correctly). I didn't need road to win but I needed the board to expend their city building resources, which they did and someone 3:1ed ore they'd saved up when it was a low ore board. Love to see it back then, love to see it in your game now!

Hey Dav thanks for the continuing great content! love the high level tournament games with VC!! in this one I honestly thought 6/3 down was the best play, can you explain why you chose the 6/11/12 instead? you would have had t 6 ore and the top of the board all to yourself and the sheep port could have been useful especially if you got a RB or something down to the 8 sheep. I'm guessing you liked the brick port and possible 9/12 expansion...
