i think every character in the show is obviusly problematic, cause nini is terrible with communication and boring, Gina is SO egocentric, Ricky has a lot issues and that makes his so insecure, E.J is so toxic, controller (he had a big evolution in season 2 but idk), Ashley is insecure and dramatic, Carlos is dramatic, Kourtney always had a opinions about Nini relation but she always wants controll her mind ,i think the only ones who dont have a problematic points is Big Red and Seb

You also can’t put all the blame on her, Ricky was projecting all of his insecurities onto her, and she has every right to not want to deal with that. Yes, she should’ve communicated better at times but he’s equally responsible for that. This is definitely giving not a girls girl vibe. Instead of dealing with his own issues, Ricky projected it onto Nini, and it ended up costing them their relationship at the end of the day. He also didn’t communicate when she showed him the Instagram video of her saying, I love you, he literally ran away and said he wanted a break and NEVER REACHED OUT TO HER all summer and hurt her feelings, so what did he expect when she wasn’t nice to him and season one. This definitely is missing a lot of of context lol.

I'd say this is legit. I didn't reallly like Nini that much and this is why I loved Gina and Ricky better. Their lives may have been taking off and there were a few fights, but they always communicated and found a way with a little guidance!🧡💛😎😚

We see Gina in the last season, and realize that it was always her, she who was born to be the protagonist, she who was perfect to be Gabriela. I thought Nini was a rather dull character, like that protagonist that everyone had to revolve around her. And besides she's a terrible actress, the character, not the actress.
