Investment Strategies and Macroeconomic Insights with Unlimited's Bob Elliott
Bob Elliott, CEO, and CIO at NYC-based Unlimited Funds joined us on the show. We discuss his 13 years experience at Bridgewater Associates (10 years as head of Ray Dalio's investment research team), and the lessons he learned from the Global Financial Crisis. We get into the more recent period of ecomomic upheaval, and today's macroeconomic landscape. Bob shares his unique take on diversification, dissecting inflation, interest rates, as well as, for example, the impact deglobalization and reshoring may have on the U.S. economy. We explore Unlimited Funds' innovative strategies of hedge fund-like replication that everyday investors can now access, at far lower cost than 2&20 strategies. Bob stresses the significance of balancing risk in portfolios. He also shares insights on managing portfolio volatility, behavioral economics, and disciplined trading practices, offering invaluable advice on market assumptions and investment management.

Great and honest guidance and insight into industry dynamics for investment considerations between large and small cap companies, tranche investment strategy against volatility.. Patience and diligence is required for the long term investor. Thank you Justin!
🎉 Good show. New subscriber.
I was a subscriber to U Insider in which he forecasts a 2x to 3x increase in the covered stocks. So NOT life changing gains but healthy nonetheless . The quality of information was top notch however the big money in the U trade has been already made by early investors.
So Justin says that the natrium reactor is using molten salt. It’s using liquid sodium. Liquid sodium for cooling. The NaCl is a supposed to be for grid storage of the heat (which might make sense if you need to store the heat. It is just not correct to assert that this is a molten salt reactor as the primary coolant system is sodium. There are molten salt reactors (some of which use Thorium) and these are MSRs. The Terrapower reactor is not one of them.

These hosts talk way too much. We are here to listen to bob not you two
I can't understand why Russia hasn't preempted the US move and sanctioned the US and cut off all uranium supply. The arrogance of the US to sanction Russia except in the case where they really need it, lol.
As the so-called uranium bull market continues to be the most disappointing investing experience of all time, Justin continues to sell his newsletter and make millions from it. Don't get me wrong I know uranium insider is a legit service with solid information and insights but this does NOT excuse the fact that the equities have been extremely disappointing only returning a fraction of a fraction of life changing gains. I wish id sold everything at the peak of last pump and walked away. Oh well
Uranium is a crap investment. Only some of the uranium stocks made little money while other uranium stocks blow ass. Justin makes his money with newletters, not with uranium.
@@squishyplums2415 life changing money is never obvious. you really just need blind faith. Otherwise everyone would already be in uranium and uranium stocks wouldnt be $4 theyd be $100.
@@squishyplums2415I guess you missed it….late to the party and perhaps psychologically incapable of withstanding the volatility. Lots of upside still, but you must treat 30% drawdowns as buying opportunities. This is the best supply /demand setup of a lifetime. Wish you had gotten in around 2018 - you’d likely be up 500%
“Demand for electrons” lol that’s not quite how electricity works but ok, not sure why that kept bothering me 😅 But yes uranium thesis makes so much sense and I can’t see why we’d be looking at any other source of energy besides nuclear tbh..
When was this interview filmed ? July.....? Why does it state 2 days ago ? Forgive me if I am missing something here...? When...?
Uranium bull market ended. Miners go back to zerom
Who is the Justin Huhn of the copper market?
Got addicted to this man’s insight and vision a few years ago Still am Have and haven’t been successful ( my fault ) And have a great optimism about the investments Justin is a great educator and it’s a wonderful walking stick through the uranium trail!
Uranium juniors will dilute you constantly and do not represent good investments. The CEO's are mostly financing their lifestyles.
Great video. I have been dipping a tow into URA and URNM on a weighted dollar cost average. Will look into SPROTT
Justin’s great and Uranium is extremely bullish. After coming off hard for 6 months for no fundamental reasons, Aug presents the best risk vs reward buying opportunity since the 2020 covid lows. But why in the world are you publishing a financial interview over 3 weeks after the actual interview!!!!!!!!!!???????????
You are right, Justin really knows his stuff and articulates it very well. Mike Alkin is another brilliant guy.
Now 5-10 years. Justin how much you change your calls my friend, just unbelievable… From the peak in less than 18 months ( Nov 2021) To 5- 10 years.(. August 2024) Just amazing Justin. Just amazing 🥲
I'm stacking Denison
Only Justin can fail all. There is not a single person in the newsletter business that has failed more than Justin. Any person who listens to Justin should know that since 2020 he has failed all the baits, calls, expectations…i can’t imagine that a single person can pay 600 usd to that guy. Here some examples: Jun 2024 Min 0 ua-cam.com/video/Xll4CtWpbZw/v-deo.htmlsi=VPMTPty88i5VYQ6O Dec 2020 Min 38 ua-cam.com/video/gmjLBAsDBeg/v-deo.htmlsi=nwKMwamTObR10_Nm
How much is the uranium inventory ATM? How long it takes for this inventory get absorbed?
About 23 nuclear reactors are under construction in China, when will they be complete?
What immediately occurred to me when I heard about the molten salt reactor is this: if for any reason the reactor stops, maybe an operational problem, and the salt cools down and and becomes a solid, how do you restart? All the pipes will be blocked, the "battery" reservoir will be solid. This looks to me like a huge problem.
Justin knows his stuff
Thanks Gadfly for you expert insight! Lmao 😂 That actually made me laugh outloud!😂
Keep in mind it takes up to 20 years build a N plant . They are building a few at sea level locations so of course they will be under water 💦 by completing date .

Good interview, great guest.
Is Doomberg Canadian?
With the benefit of a month's hindsight D seems to have made a bad call on the oil price effect of UKR attacking Russian refineries. Brent has gone down, not up due to the refinery attacks. Still, most of his insights are very good.
Build a reason to stay in Mexico? How does bro not know the vast majority of the migrants are not from Mexico? Bro thinks it's still 1983 lmao.
But "going global" is more exposure to communism and socialism. ??
I love listening to Faber but I went to Cambria web site and checked the performance of a few of the ETFs since inception and they are so low. What am I missing? Is it because he started right before the 2008/2009 crisis?

As a person who was just randomly recommended thi svideo in which you're tlaking to a cartoon character in all seriousness without explaining up front cuz I have no idea who this is, it seems I can't even wrap my head around this. Sorry, you need to preface that.

Absolutely incorrect on “amazing universities”. Otherwise I agree with most of your analysis. 👍🏻
If Russia was a real super power, then this war would have been over a week after it started. Putin outright jails protesters and opposition. You could never have a UA-cam channel that criticizes Putin.
Why do people even assume there is any logic in anything Biden and Dems say or do. They are deranged corrupt and stupid pathological liars, whose policy could be the last straw of luck that barely saved the world from WW3 breaking for 75 years finally breaking. On energy price many smart people were brain washed to believed that world market for energy demand supply was so relatively big that negated the effect of small additions or subtractions from North America even though the truth is opposite and is I will admit counter intuitive.
I’m not sure why some here argue against the bird on energy price being artificially high- it is easily proved from the technological advance we have undeniably witnessed. But bird is wrong with his latent anti Trump bias and praise for Canada’s immigration policy and institution . Bird must mean a Canada “ had” such policy at one time in the past.
Donald Trump will be following and upholding the law ( the real law) when he/ we prosecute Biden and many others in the deep state for violation of citizens constitutional rights and their blatant treasonous policy at the border and other areas.
