    I hope that you can continue your work. Before this channel I was subscribe to two other channels that were taken down. I don't know who did this. One of the channel's names was Classical Catholic audio books, it was heart breaking for me because that channel used to upload Fulton J Sheen's sermons. Father Sheen is one of my favourite Catholic orators I had never seen him but his works lead me towards one and true faith. So yes, it was tormenting for me to bear. No intercessor is needed Jesus death on the cross accomplished that.

    • @CatholicJourneyy
      @CatholicJourneyy 5 днів тому

      Thank you for sharing your perspective! It’s true that Jesus' death on the cross is the ultimate act of salvation and reconciliation between God and humanity. Catholics believe that Jesus is our one true mediator with the Father (1 Timothy 2:5). However, asking for the intercession of saints, including the Virgin Mary, is seen not as replacing Jesus, but as asking fellow believers to pray for us, much like we would ask a friend to pray for us. Ultimately, all grace comes from God through Christ.

    The only one born without original sin is Jesus!!!!

    • @CatholicJourneyy
      @CatholicJourneyy 5 днів тому

      Thank you for your comment! In Catholic teaching, Jesus is indeed the only one born sinless by His divine nature. However, the Church also holds that the Virgin Mary was preserved from original sin through a special grace, known as the doctrine of the Immaculate Conception. This was not by her own power, but through God's grace, preparing her to be the Mother of Jesus. Both beliefs emphasize God's unique work in salvation.

      Thank you for your comment! Ukon Takayama is actually a historical figure and a real-life samurai who converted to Christianity in Japan during the 16th century. His story is quite different from the fictional characters in *Samurai Champloo* or the portrayal of samurais in video games. Ukon's faith made him stand out among his peers, and he even faced exile for his beliefs. It’s true that historical figures like him can sometimes be portrayed differently in media, but his legacy as a "Samurai of Christ" is truly inspiring! 😊

    These AI generated continually distracted me. Good information, but I'd prefer no images at all than these AI generated images. I like real human voices. It's weird watching videos with only AI images and voices that should make you feel closer to God and humanity because of our frailties actually makes me feel like a spiritual robot... almost empty in a strange way. Jesus said he'll be with those that struggle... so we encounter God's works through each other, through our humanness... but videos only iwth AI images and voices make me feel further away from the human touch. I love it when our humanness shines through our, other humans attempting to help each other. I like the content, but the AI created video makes me feel like a robot, and not a human, is trying to console me. I don't find god in the internet or pure machinery. Thank you for allowing me your time and rant. God bless you all.

    I would venture to say that once he because a Christian he would have to cease being a samurai. Being a samurai comes with many anti-Christian baggage, no?

    • @CatholicJourneyy
      @CatholicJourneyy 8 днів тому

      Thank you for bringing up this interesting point! You’re right that being a Christian and a samurai would have been a challenging balance, as the samurai code (Bushido) often emphasized values like loyalty to one’s lord, which could conflict with Christian teachings that prioritize loyalty to God above all. Additionally, practices like the ritual of *seppuku* (ritual suicide) were in direct opposition to Christian beliefs about the sanctity of life. However, Ukon Takayama managed to integrate his faith with his samurai identity in a unique way. After his conversion, he shifted his focus from serving earthly rulers to serving Christ, and he used his influence to promote Christianity in Japan. When faced with a choice between his status as a samurai and his faith, he chose exile over compromising his beliefs, showing where his ultimate loyalty lay. His story is a testament to the struggle many Christians faced in reconciling their old ways of life with their new faith, and it makes his witness even more powerful. Thank you for sparking such a thoughtful reflection!

    THE CATHOLIC CHURCH IS FOUNDED ON AN “EXTREMELY DANGEROUS” FALLACY !!! They FALSELYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY THINK that what the Lord GOD Jesus PROMISED to Peter in Matthew 16:19 [I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven. Whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.] ……… And in John 14:13-14 [And I will do whatever you ask in My name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask Me for anything in My name, I will do it.] ……… is TRANSFERRABLE !!! So, by DESIGN or INNOCENSE, those EARLY Catholics GOT VERYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY EXCITED and started INVENTINGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG !!! a document called “Catechism of the Catholic Church” (CCC) which, please TAKE NOTE !!! is BRIMMING with HERESIES like, “The (CCC) states that Mary “did not lay aside this saving office, but by her manifold intercession continues to bring us the gifts of eternal salvation” (No. 969). QUESTIONNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN: Now, when those Catholic Priests pray and ASK for THIS and THAT, does GOD “ALWAYSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS DO IT”? …….. NOHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH !!! PROOFFFFFFFFFFFFFF THAT IT IS NOTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT TRANSFERRABLE !!! …….. Yes, Mary’s “intercession” and her ability to “bring … the gifts of eternal salvation” is a BIG FAT HERESYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY !!! Which -- if NOT RENOUNCEDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD -- could LAND these Catholics in the FIRESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS of HELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL !!!

      I understand your perspective and respect your concerns. The Catholic Church believes that miracles can be signs of God’s work in a person’s life, but ultimately, it's God who makes a person a saint. The Church’s role is to recognize those who lived in a way that can inspire others. As for the crucifixion wounds, the Church teaches that the stigmata, like those of Padre Pio, are a mystery and not meant to replicate Christ’s wounds exactly, but rather to remind us of His suffering. These topics can be complex, and it’s always good to explore them thoughtfully.

  • @donhaddix3770

    • @CatholicJourneyy
      @CatholicJourneyy 8 днів тому

      I hear your concerns, and I respect that this is a sensitive topic. The Catholic Church’s process of canonization is seen as a way to formally recognize those who lived exemplary lives of faith, but the Church acknowledges that only God truly knows the heart and appoints His saints. Regarding the stigmata, there is indeed debate among historians and scholars about the precise nature of crucifixion wounds, but the stigmata in the Catholic tradition are not necessarily understood as exact physical replicas-they are seen as a spiritual sign. Padre Pio's stigmata were mysterious and deeply personal to many who witnessed his devotion. These differences in understanding are significant, and it's important to have open, respectful conversations about them. Thank you for sharing your thoughts.

      @CatholicJourneyy according to catholic standard, not biblical. dont call them saints. according to medical testing, through the palms will not support body weight in koine Greek hand includes the wrist. Pio's stigmata and all the others are fake. plus all way through, not just the entry point. nothing to debate

    My relative studied in a catholic school with this name! Beautiful story. 🌹📿🥀I didn’t know. May this devotion spread more faith and love toward Christ around to all Americas. And bring guide and light to everyone.

      Thank you for sharing that! It’s wonderful that your relative studied in a school named after such an inspiring saint. Santa Rosa de Lima’s life of devotion and sacrifice truly serves as a beacon of faith for the Americas. May her example continue to spread love for Christ and inspire many to follow His light!

      St Therese is portrayed in the intro as if she was a Hindu goddess. No way is that appropriate.

    I strongly believe if Japan became Catholic and submitted to the Vatican, we would have lost a far more important view of the past in Asia, namely the migration of the 10 lost tribes of Israel and their influence on the world, largely forgotten but clearly visable in all the ancient traditions of Europe and Asia respectively. The kanji system based on Sumerian and old Hebrew characters brought in ftom China. The continual purging of the Catholic fanatics would have wiped out these things, Shinto & buddhism being suppressed with the fanatical zeal of the most warhardy people..Japan's history is a lesson to us all, a treasure trove of ancient knowledge, customs and culture, and an insight into the old Israel, for me at least

      Thank you for sharing your perspective. It’s true that Japan's rich cultural and religious history, including Shintoism and Buddhism, offers deep insights into its past and traditions. The Catholic Church, while evangelizing, seeks to respect and engage with the local culture. History shows that many missionaries, including Ukon Takayama, aimed not to erase, but to integrate the faith with existing cultural values, promoting peace and understanding. The Catholic Church does not seek to erase history or culture, but rather to offer Christ’s message while respecting the diverse backgrounds of those it encounters. Japan’s history, as with all nations, remains a unique and valuable part of the world's heritage. God bless!
