poor dog bet it lives in a two room high rise apartment, with no back yard to play in, no wounder its nuts mental issues, dogs need open spaces and big back yards to play live in , not live stuck in an apartment all day , how cruel
until today, i honestly had no idea magpies did this! either that magpie has been hanging around lyrebirds too long or just ate a crack rock the junkies dropped on the ground, and is now just talking absolute gibberish?!
Incredible. He (she?) looks advanced in years so lots of time to hear and learn all the sounds they know. Thanks for sharing!!! What an fascinating bird and ability!
Great great video, just subbed... I had no idea they were that talented. I saw the one of the liar bird in the forest doing the chainsaw & camera etc & was blown away by that. I'd just about put this vid right up there with that one I think... thanks so much for posting. (20/Oct/2022-7:48pm🇦🇺EST)
This sweet charming little magpie just wants to please someone with his incredible vocal gift. I almost shed tears while listening to the different sounds and the bird seemingly wants to be loved. I do love him/her.
I watch this every day now cuz it's so funny to me. This magpie has got the ambulance sounds /sirens down absolutely pat so much so that I sent this to a friend of mine who is a former firefighter . City slicker magpie. So funny!
Anyone notice the Police Sirens this fella does is not the direct sound, but the sound of the Siren within a city (Delay/Reverb) bouncing of the buildings? Its like taking a vocal and adding reverb to it in a mix.... It aint just a police siren, but one with FX on it! Incredible.
I love how birds often look like they're doing absolutely nothing. Sometimes I mimic bird sounds, people actually think it's bird, if they don't see me do it, but I usually do it to make friends laugh. I wonder why some of these birds mimic sounds lol.
The lyrebird an Australian bird is the one that amazes me. They can imitate any sound so perfectly. If you haven’t seen or heard one, worth checking out!
I kid you not, the male magpie that come's into my yard mimicked a horse his name is mayham :)

Ah yes, the alarm call, that's an invention by birds, among many others.
Wow ! Will you look at that 🥰 Awwwwwwww how sweet & it sounds like R -2 D 2 lol 😂
Dommage, qu'on entend aussi des voix humaines !!!

It's a him U can tell by the colour of their backs if it's pure white it's a male and if it has grey through it it's a girl.
But babies have grey all over so U can tell the difference
😊💟💟💟🙋♀️

I know it isn't but.. it sounds like a mocking bird whose mission is to keep you awake at night.
I wonder if this is a juvenile magpie
Amazing world we have
So what does an Australian Magpie actually sound like??
Its own call is very beautiful and can be heard from 1:20-1:23
What a shame it's heard a police siren so many times he can mimic it...beautifully intelligent.

I noticed that too.
Bullshit
Bird performing to an audience!
Obviously the poor thing lives in a high crime area
Something is wrong with bird because it doesn't eat anything
I'd like to see a magpie sounding like a bicycle bell while chasing cyclists during mating season.
0:47 hello!
Don't underestimate the magpies.
Merry very warm Christmas eve down under 6 years ago from Merica F*** YEAH

I didn’t know they could do that. I thought that was the realm of the lyrebird
