I once admired him, but it's a letdown to see him strut around, proclaiming his opinions with little to no solid backing. That is not correct. It is written in the first sentence as a statement like a title to a paragraph and what follows is written as if is someone is reading it to others as a if he is narrating a story. It would be better to learn hebrew instead of relying on a translation. I'm not quite 3 minutes into the video and I'm already raging at Lennox for being a complet pompous a..s. If you believe in god, you are already believing in anything. He, as a "scientist", should understand that we get to facts by the scientific method, and only the scientific method. It is not perfect but it is very very good, and it is the best we have. A million miles better than faith, or scripture or from ignorant ancient prophets. Lennox wants his cake and eat it. If he can provide one single verifiable fact, proving, any of the thousands of gods' existance, he might have a case, and I would be there to congrutelate him on his up-coming Nobel Prize for science. But until then, I'll consider him a full blown lying twerp.

He doesnt seem to distinguished between, religion, philosophy and human rationalisations. Islam does answer the question on why God allows harm to occur and it's embedded in the duality in nature essentially, without good, one has no understanding of evil, there is male and female, light and darkness. Additionally God of all Abrahamic faiths has assured anyone who suffers in this life but believe solely in him, will be compensated for every single pain suffered in the afterlife. We are also his creation and he is free to do with us as he wills.
