Well this car as I recall already had the door panels off. And it's a late car so it's pretty easy as long as you know the arm rest has a metal bracket and needs to be lifted towards the top of the door. And we don't remove the latch mechanism for a regulator replacement.

On the air-cooled Bugs late and early is defined by window size. 64 down is early 65 up is late basically.

Not sure on the replacement because this one worked but I know there is a Mopar wiper motor rebuild guy but I don't recall the name of the company. I will hit google and let you know if I can find him.

@@nevereasyboogievansandbugg5226 thanx. I was checking at the auto part stores but doesn't look the same. On my van it has 3 prong hook up, and the auto part store only 1. Also I stay in OC Cali if I need any help with my van I can stop by the shop

@@nevereasyboogievansandbugg5226 might be a west coast thing, lol! JK! It's just the way you were taught. First van motor I did was back in 03, and that's how my boss showed me to do it. And every subsequent shop I worked at never told me any different. (probably because it pays more hours to jam it in through the front) 😆 but either way..... Whatever works works ya know! Good to see somebody out there still building these vans. A whole lot of them got crushed back during the scrap metal boom...... Out here in Virginia anyway. They are becoming popular again though. hell when I was growing up in the early 90's I still remember seeing the tandem-axle six wheelers rolling around. you just don't see em that much anymore. Out here on the East Coast anyway. Rock on man!!🤟💯

@@nevereasyboogievansandbugg5226 I'm glad somebody's making them again. Cause we searched all over the internet looking for them and couldn't find shit.... not even NOS. But of course.....this was also back in 2014. I know they were using the same clip-in rear door weatherstrip at least until the early 80's......then I think Chrysler redesigned the rear and side door shape after that and went to a more square-shaped door. I could be wrong though.🤷‍♀️ Anyway.... Thanks for the info man!! big time! 👍💯

Why is that cop colors there?

It's technically illegal here in Ca. too but it looks too rad to worry about it haha. But Custom Vanner Magazine makes almost any color you can imagine including orange/red(stock colors) FYI.

They were from ebay and were Czechoslovakian or something. They didn't fit well. I would look for Dorman or other name brand ones if you can find them.

Hmm it’s working fine for us. Try checking if you need to update the UA-cam app if that’s what your are using. If using a computer try closing out the browser then opening back up. If all else fails try restarting your phone or desktop. Hopefully this works!

Sorry for the slow response. That carpet is actually made from 2 shag area rugs from Walmart because it was the perfect color and multi colored blue shag is fairly hard to find.
