5 MINUTE REFRESH | ON DAY 3 CURLY HAIR
My fav 5 MINUTE REFRESH works great on day 2, 3, 4 hair etc. I prefer a damp refresh because it really speeds things up. Then I apply a little bit of whatever styling product I used on washday and quickly diffuse. I scrunch out whatever crunch and BOOM that's it! My curls bounce back up, I have contained my frizz and regained my overall shape.
BONUS TIP to bump up flat roots:
I do a deep side, then slide my fingers in and rough up just the roots. I spray and diffuse for a moment.
How do you feel about refreshing? Love it or hate it? What's your preferred method?
Let me know what you think in the comments below.💗

I love this routine! I use very few styling products and usually just tie my hair up until wash day. I'm going to give this a try, thanks.

I’ve had the hardest time finding someone who has nearly identical hair from mine. After I had my youngest my hair went from thick and full to thin and fine. I’ve had a hard time finding my new style. I have a thin pony like you and when dry and curled it looks like I have a TON of hair but I don’t. That being said I’m still working out products to use bc I hate the dry frizzy feel, I like the wetter look but soft touch. Scrunch out the crunch is exactly what I find myself doing. What I dislike (and maybe it just is the way it is) is waking up in the morning and having to wet it all down again and add more products. Anywho this video was extremely helpful for me and I will try it. I was wondering what products you use and like the most if you wouldn’t mind sharing.

@@senseofbeautybystephanie - Thank you for responding. 🙏🏻 Nothing “particular” to request… 🤷🏻‍♀️ Maybe hair products that work well for you? Never saw anyone with hair similar to mine & what you did with yours is exactly where I’d like to go! Have ordered those large root lifting clips & can’t wait until they arrive to try them out. Just got into the curly girl routine ~ 6 months ago & the last time I did my hair it came out really great after watching YOUR video. Used the alligator clips available but they kind of get caught/tangled so the large ones were ordered. Am a 70+ year old lady that grew her hair out during the pandemic. It’s very curly in back but just wavy in front. Am excited to keep experimenting! BEST OF LUCK IN YOUR R.E. ADVENTURES! ❤️❤️❤️

Just had your video added to my algorithm! Love how you did your hair which is very similar to mine & was the type of cut I had imagined! Think my hair is a bit thinner… love Manes by Mel & you absolutely rocked the tutorial. Thank you for doing this; we fine hair ladies like to look good too!

Absolutely same story like me. But i hate how it looks i have shorter hair and I dont like that. I staighten my hair once a week and its much better. My hair start growing and I try to wear it curly again. I'm so happy my hair start to look wavy again. Its so hard but i found a lot of girls, they lost curls and get them back. Its long journey i hope i get my curls back too. Thank you for your chanel, this help me a lot :)

I have no idea what my curl potential is as I have wore my hair straight for most of my life (apart from a period of time in the 80’s when we all had perms 😂). But when I occasionally leave it natural, it’s curlier than yours was during your transition so it makes me wonder how curly it might go if I give up the heat?? As yours is amazing!!
