Blood Typing Our Intern
Переглядів 1,1 тис.8 років тому
Tin was curious to know his blood type, so I put him on the spot and pricked his finger. How does a blood typing kit work?
Although there is a secretor gene (Se), that produces a fucosal transferase (FT), one does not need a genetic test to see if someone is a secretor. This test can be easily done in a few minutes in any medical laboratory that types blood. The antibody adsorption inhibition test uses saliva. If someone's blood antigen is in their saliva (a secretor), it will neutralize the typing sera (antibodies) that labs use to determine the ABO type of a patient's blood. Example, if someone is type A, the A antigens in their saliva will neutralize or block the activity of the A antibodies used to type blood cells. After mixing the saliva sample with the A typing test sera, the sera will no longer agglutinate type A blood cells suggesting the person is a secretor. However, a person that is a non-secretor will produce saliva that will NOT contain A antigen and therefore cannot neutralize A antibody typing reagent. When this sample is tested against type A red cells the red cells will agglutinate or clump together this proving the person is a non-secretor and does not secrete type A antigen in their body fluids.
Well said sir!
I'm o negative and this is my first part of my journey trying to figure out everything on this journey of this diet.
My nmo went away because of prayer that led me to this diet and a oil from Egypt. This diet is the reason i have no treatment i cured the dam illnesses
Please keep your brilliant videos coming.
Pretty gay ... im O neg and i do powerlifting and mma

Gluten free food is ridiculously expensive if you’re financially limited it’s close to impossible.
Thank you!!!!
You don’t look in shape for following a strict blood type diet.
Adi is lovely ☀️
What a sweet couple 😊 I just bought the book hopefully I will feel better.
Nice couple 👍👍🌎🇺🇲
I’m an HR prof and I find it very strange that her manager asked her to not talk about this. What was the harm? 🤔
I’m new at this. I’m O+ and my husband and kids are A blood type. Do you recommend and cookbooks for A and O ? Thank you
Most people are brainwashed into thinking that the medical cabal has their best interests at heart... THEY DON'T. They would lose a LOT OF MONEY if they let people in on diet cures for disease. I've been on a combo of the blood type diet and the keto diet for quite a long time. Since adopting these diets I have not had even a cold or headache. My energy is very high and I feel satisfied when I eat, without any weight gain at all since losing 80 pounds when I first started the keto diet. With the combo of the keto and blood type diets. I don't feel the need to change back to a diet that is not good for me. I do not crave ANY of the foods that used to make me ill.
WOW!! AND JEFF LOOKS SOOO GOOD FOR 26.
I'm type O but I thrive on salad and fruit, fish and small amounts of rice/potato. I've never ever in my life wanted to eat or enjoyed red meat. For exercise I enjoy weightlifting, hiit and pilates. So both intense and calm. I don't fit into my blood type recommendations?!
Sad 😮😢
I followed this diet periodically since the book was published in the 90s. The very first time I took a bite of beef ,after not having it for 20 years, I felt energized. I'm type O. Also the exercise recommended truly make a difference. I discovered this before the book came out.
I don’t want to be an A+. I’ve already been a vegetarian!😢 😭. I want to EAT MEAT 🥩 ‼️ I want to be an O😮
lol , you can have turkey , goat , lamb , mutton and rabbit. So see you can have some meat albeit not beef. So go and enjoy.
Wow! This is absolutely amazing ❤
Would LOVE to see more people's experience on video. Type O in excellent health thanks to no grains and barely any dairy. And all the meat!
So happy for you!
I'm a confused type A non-secretor. Old information said no peanuts, now I'm reading neutral. Some information says lectins are bad for me others say no. 🤷♀
I swear this works. Before I even knew what it was my favourite foods were the best for my blood type and foods I hated Are the ones to avoid. I’ve made changes and feel much better for it.
I’m blood type o+ and always loved the idea of vegetarianism but always felt awful a week in….heres to following type o+. Bring on the beneficial beef, plums, cherries, yams and broccoli! Oh, and quitting coffee😂
Where are you with it now?
Im A + and eat carnivore and do great for years now i think as ive heard anyone works if u stick to it
😂OMG, you guys are something, the old doc has to die so new things can start
pair it with a ayurveda. true ayurveda with a proper coach studied in ancient ayurveda
I have been on the BTD for 20+ yrs. It has cured my acid reflux, bloating and left me feeling content after every meal. I have no cravings and don’t eat anything with sugar.I believe that the health of everyone would be seriously improved by adopting this way of eating! Thank God for the information in this book!
I thank God to for finding this book🩷
I’m A+ I just tried various types of diet even keto but nothing worked. Then before even realising about blood type diet, my body was craving for being vegetarian and tbh I’m loving it. I just realised listening to what our body needs is incredibly helpful. I’m enjoying at the same time doing great.
How is it going now? 🤔
Same as You now looking into Blood Type Diet right now ,was unaware of it ,
Are there any sources to this information being true? I'm AB and all I can say is that I get best results from weight lifting and interval running...
Secretor and ancestral type are things that have put me off for following the blood type diet. No doctors can do this test to determine all that, not even have access to those kits since i don’t leave in America. Any suggestions?
23andMe or similar DNA tests can show if you're a secretor/non-secretor. I don't remember the details, but it's pretty easy to search.
A's can eat red meat. The latest studies indicate that it's "combining" that gets you into trouble. If you are an "A" blood type, and enjoy red meat? Eat it alone, or with greens only. Save the starches for an hour earlier or later. I'm an A. Since I've been doing this, I've had absolutely no meat related digestive problems.
I love this
It's not O, it's zero!
Curious why the these exercises are good for these types
They've already mentioned that in the video.
Play it more than one.
The next topic is,marry the rite blood type ❤
I'll be waiting 😊
Think of the harmony that would create
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤦🏽♀️💀
awesome. thank you so much. i am an ab and been doing my daily yoga for many years. love the exercises/ walking, biking, dancing, swimming, yard work, and seems like a great balance
thank you so much. i really love your wife , she speaks my language!
You two are adorable! I’m a type O+ and followed Dr. d’Adamo’s book a long time ago, then as all the information that is thrown at us about vegetarian/vegan is best for everyone, I veered off and tried to eliminate meat from my diet which is a big mistake for me. I’m back to meat & vegetables for my type O and am hoping to get back my energy…Great video!💕
I love you guys! I have A- blood and bought Dr D'Adamo's book 20 yrs ago because of gut problems. I am still using his food list as my guide. I'm glad you're still spreading the word (boy, is it a slow process!).
The entire world should know their blood type and be eating according. The people who don’t agree with this idea are the B types because they can pretty much eat anything, plus the tend to be selfish!
What a concept!! Food as medicine. You're right, it does take a curious mind to think outside the box. Congrats on finding a way to health and longevity!
My DNA at rs8176719ii is rs8176746C,C and rs8176747C,C , genoset 129 which blood type am I.
You two are great. I’m going back to this diet…I felt so great when I was on it 25 years ago.
I am sort of an health freak however. I fast every so often. I eat healthy 95% of the time. The other 5% i have some awful habits like eating lots of candy, eating teaspoons of sugar at times I eat nothing else though so it's not as bad i don't think. The brain runs on glucose so. I have a lot of bone pain and arthritis pain. I am trying to eliminate them now by increasing my knowledge.
As a type A the low-fat mostly vegetarian diet has always made me feel the best AND I just naturally crave those foods....
Hello, do you have instagram? Can I text you there?
When I first saw this book I thought "Nonsense". I had been vegetarian for about 15 years, which was one of the easiest changes I'd ever made. Looked up my blood type and it says A is the natural vegetarian and I thought WOW, maybe they're onto something! My father was O and tried to cut out red meat but it made him ill to go without. So he ate steak once a month, pork or chicken more often. Sadly, he died before we learned about food intolerances or this diet. For me, cutting out wheat was the #1 best thing I ever did for myself. That was 15 years ago...I'm just now coming back to the Blood Type Diet. I've gained unhealthy weight & realize I've been drinking seltzers and sodas and eating a lot of potatoes. Looking forward to getting better with this diet change.
Same with my father too. Sadly passed away from a heart attack. He used to consume a fair amount of pork, potatoes, wheat and lots of coffee. All O no no's, and some for A's too. The GenoType Diet and eating to your secretor status i've found is helpful too, if you find the standard BTD is not quite enough. I'm a type O non-secretor with the Hunter GenoType. I do find the listed avoids for Hunters (even if they're foods OK for O's in the BTD) do still mess with my system. Before i even began eating to my GenoType, on the BTD i dropped down from around UK waist size 36 to size 28 and potentially i can go even smaller. Just hard to find adult sizes more appropriate.
