It's a polished stainless one, so should last forever. Wanted some being even when servicing haha. Got it at a bike jumble in the summer for like £10 or something.

This was a fair while back now. If I remember rightly, I went with 2.5 turns. Once I hooked up the Gunsons carb tester, it showed a nice healthy spark. I don't have this bike anymore. Went with a new bike back in June this year.

The fairing is Chic Design Road Comet from Japan. Expensive but managed to get a 2nd hand one. Which fork clamp? The Kawasaki emblem below the fairing?

Cheers. Yeah that's only a simple decat pipe. I'll eventually change to full headers but it'll be fine for now. Engine pulls amazingly well.

My old man always had one on his bikes. So I carry that on now as a memory to him, kinda like part of him is riding with me too.

Some of the plastic is cheap looking. As you'd expect from modern stuff. These have seemed to do extremely well and so far no major setbacks with reliability.

Got a new lid and new Cardo at the weekend. So now I've got to have a play around again. I did find tho, if I record from my mic to Bluetooth on my phone, it's stops it being used as a comms system as the wife couldn't hear me if I was recording it.

I'm not sure. Not looked since I fitted this a while back.

@@The.bearded.biker666 Tis great to make it yours, wi changes that you fancy. Just painted front mudguard support's air covers, and fitted black riders heel guards. I never thought I'd sell my first Rs but did like a muppet,.... this 1 ain't goin anywhere soon.😊

@@Flyingscotsman3 I've got a carbon hugger on now. Just done the carbon bits on the side panel. Got rad side covers and heel plates in a box in the garsge. Will probably order the carbon mudguard supports soon. Then it's just the neck pieces to replace with carbon ones. Next is a full system with maybe a Yoshi pipe.

@Flyingscotsman3 XJR is gone I'm afraid mate. Idea of getting the Z was for something modern and reliable. Just couldn't trust the XJR to get me on a long ride. As much as I did all I could for it, it's still needed a ton of work to get right. Plus I fell in love with the Z. The missus made it clear it was possible if I just had the Z. Yeah new bits are gonna look ace. Plus, the cheeky little brake res lid that you pointed out to me is still in a box too. Been flat out lately so not really had chance to get in the garage.

Hehe, it's easily done. I went to my local Yamaha dealers to look at their new bikes and ended up buying the Z.

All good choices. It's a tough call between all of them if you have no preference. I wanted the Z for the classic looks but modern additions.

Cheers. None of this new fangled digital stuff here. Don't get me wrong, I do like the new stuff. But some of them look like they have a tablet stuck on the bars as a dash.
