Each stay varies when it comes to traffic citations. Like the Sergeant stated, it's not an emission of guilt. It's saying that you received a copy of the citation. In my home state of Ohio. The same applies, failure to sign results in an arrest. You take the ticket and go from there. I've explained this to numerous drivers that I've encountered during my tenure as a LEO. Go to court to argue your point not on the street. We're all aren't bullies, and it depends on the officer issuing the citations. People just take stuff to the extreme. I'm black, and I do understand the situation. GOD BLESS !!

I have seen my friends be openly discriminated against and can understand their rage.....HOWEVER this woman was treated with respect and was never told he would pull her out of her car. Under the law she DOES have to sign the ticket or it is a crime. Her saying she does not is ignorance and ignorance of the law is not an excuse. If all you look for is bad in people you will create the bad in your mind. Which undermines the actual battle black people faces.

This is why I don't buy the assertion that black people are disproportionately harassed or mistreated by police. Is the vast majority of the evidence comes from anecdotal tales such as this but doesn't have the video evidence to corroborate it...... It's just taken as fact. I was born and raised in America, couldn't get financial aid for college because my fathers income was too high, but the kid from Russia that barely spoke english and couldn't count to 10 was getting his tuition paid and being paid 1500 a month for going to school. Low interest home loans, for those that qualify. Many blacks are finally starting to catch on to the generational wealth thing. The greatest way to pass wealth is by passing ownership, blacks were railroaded up until the 1980's to buy homes to pass along. Reparations, if it wasn't for black people the United States would be a failed experiment and would have plunged into third world country status. Blacks taught whites to grow rice and other crops to survive. The built this countries economic power and all we got in return was slavery by way of prison. You want black people to thrive? Give us what you've given to everyone else. Shit we have billions to send to Ukraine, send billions to all these other countries, Native Americans get reparations, Jews get reparations, the Japanese got reparations, yet we seem to not be able to devise a plan to actually pay the ancestors of those that built this county reparations. Hell I don't need reparations, give my future generations the same benefits afforded to any other group that came here.
