This animation style is so interesting. It looks like if Soviet cartoons had American polish.

The pagan Romans the Germanic tribes, the Norse (Danes, Swedes, Norwegian, Jutes, etc.), the English (Saxons and Angles), the Scotts, the Irish and the french Normans were great peoples unfortunately tamed by the conversion to Christianity : their way of life, religion, culture, sagas, etc. are simply amazing if you study them deep... (albeit the Irish, the Scotts and the Normans maintained a somewhat fierceness after their conversion to Christianity they were but a shadow compared to their pagan ancestors...)

Brave men, but not very smart. After the first attack, they should have put flammable straw puppets in place of the warriors in their beds, soaked the great hall in oil and loaded it with pitch pine, then waited outside in the dark and cold until the monster entered the hall. Slam the doors shut, bar them and set the great hall alight. Then a large crossbow to deal with Grendahl's mother.

It's a great story and this is the best adaptation of it that I know - it really conveys the feel of it all beautifully and the way in which the mystery and dark power of Grendel is conveyed is wonderful. Interesting that, watching this adaptation, I began to think that these kinds of stories are the ancient bullshit that underpinned early monarchy

Watching this after watching the movie Grendel Grendel Grendel, is a great exercise of perspective

Very 'Tolkinesque' (I know that Tolkien's works are actually very 'Beowulfesque' in actuality), this style would be the perfect way to make an animated film of The Lord of the Rings, and The Hobbit, and The Silmarillion... :)

Beowulf looks like He-man and Death Clock..

ALEXANDER THE GREAT was an arab and he sent this beowulf poem to ARISTOTLE after he had seen in person the black african CYNOCEPHILI people in india. They were first living in Libya and Morocco with black skin cooking in sunlight on rocks. The climate had of been extremely hot then if only a few explorers can go into the sunlight without melanin to visit.
