There were many great basketball players when I was growing up. Names I remember: Dr. J, Karim Abdul Jabbar, Larry Bird, Magic Johnson and Michael Jordan. Of course, my GOAT was Meadow Lark Lemon.

The things they don’t tell you. Is that he went after every loose ball no matter if the game mattered or not and sacrificed his body. He would fight anybody. Celtics were last when he was drafted. Won a chip in 2nd year. Would run 10 miles after the game. For his lack of physical skills he made up for it with heart and smarts.
