    Sushi is a lot healthier though😂

    • @ricely_
      @ricely_ 7 днів тому

      I’m not sure what makes you think that way - but here’s what I think😂 While I love sushi, kimbab can actually be healthier in many ways! It usually has more raw/cooked vegetables, no sugar in the rice unlike the sushi rice, and often includes lean proteins like eggs or tuna. Plus, it's often lower in calories and sodium too. Depending on the ingredients, kimbab can definitely be a healthier choice✨✨

    Thanks! Cucumber and carrots are divine. My favorite Banh Mi restaurant uses them fermented as a topping. But for Kimchi do you have experience on using purple cabbage instead of normal green cabbage? I like the taste more and I prefer personal opinions from cooks like you versus articles that state platitudes/indefinites about cooking.

    • @ricely_
      @ricely_ Місяць тому

      Hi! There’s more than a hundred different types of kimchi in Korea including the famous napa cabbage kimchi and so on, but I don’t think there’s such a thing as purple cabbage kimchi as far as I know - I like purple cabbages, but I personally wouldn’t make kimchi with purple cabbage because of its slight bitterness🥲
