Had some fun on my last day at the Ring. It rained just before the track opened this day so I figured traffic would be minimal as the tourist weekday drives seem to be pretty chill anyway. Here is just me having fun driving 6/10ths and having a little chat with the camera.

Just shaking down the E36 race car at AMP between coaching sessions with Jzilla Trackdays. These are the same tires from Europe with over 7,000Km on them.. and roughly 70 track heat cycles. #e36 #trackday #drift #bmw #racecar #s54

Crashed my Drift Car The day before I leave for Europe
congratulations man !!! 🤙🏼👍🏼
Sweet. Great job on that impossible gt3 every snob in the world had given up on.. Time to go and scratch it up a little again.. 😆
Love the project and love the pole positions in your car! Can't wait to see some track videos.
I would argue that my 1995 M3 GT Twin Turbo with Ceramic brakes would be up there :D
Love your wheels
I was waiting for this video ! Love your car content !
I like the head lamp. I need that.
Good job my man!
Want to see this little nugget jumping on the s down curve on laguna seca !!!!
I am there march 14 and trying to guilt him into coming out
Kerp it for more than 5 minutes will ya? Ya fucker.
Also, sounds like an outstanding base for a track car to keep given the rebuilt title. I see so many 911s out with WRTeknica during track days that it is torture. Hoping to get a ride with Will some day soon.
I am the previous owner. I rolled it 16x
Nice one, love seeing you work on cars!
Hell yeah, love seeing this car get love. Have been following Instagram for a while since I've seen the e36 at a jzilla event. Looking forward to seeing this car on track this year.
🙌 It's going to be an awesome 2025 track season :). I'll see you out there
More e36 please
Car looks sooo sweeet! Love what you guys are doing! We’re currently building an EPIC S54 BMW E36 too! Just got the engine in and tested a sequential S50 E36 M3 rally car on a frozen lake in Finland in our recent video! Was such an unreal experience! Check out our videos and let us know what you think😁
clean...real clean.
Those rims are amazing
Those additional US rear bumpers are so ugly. A real shame that those where the only solution regulators came up with.
A sticker fell off lol.
Next video
Perfection..except for diff ratio. Perhaps 3.46 is better, still revvy, 3000rpm @ 100kmh, plenty of acceleration
Absolutely outstanding E36 build! The amount of detail this builder has put into this chassis leaves me speechless. Well done 👏🏼
such a sick build
That's a good build 😎👍
need some build videos asap
😍
@MrSteeleDrives - Whats the scoop on the AC setup? I noticed the ducts ran to the cabin but was wondering if you guys retaining the factory AC or had another solution? Planning my E36 S54 build and come coming up with some many questions!
No AC It’s just a Motorsport blower fan behind the dash that is piped in through some ducts in front of the engine. And then into the cabin with 2 different outputs. So it’s just outside fresh air :) Works well as long is it’s not above 70 degree outside. Racecars get pretty hot inside 😆.
@Mrsteeledrives for sure! Thanks man! I’m in FL and can’t decide if I want to deal with AC on the S54 swap. Staging lanes in Florida heat is going to suck without it 😂
Un volt
Thanks man that was a super interesting lap. Just found this channel and didn’t know of all your FPV drone work and am pretty blown away. Will you be at Tokyo Auto Salon? I work with a company specializing in a Motorsport product you might be interested in. Henry built an amazing car and great Euro series-look forward to seeing it in N. America.
I've been wanting to go to Japan for over 20 years.. I will for sure make it one day soon. haven't made any plans to go to the auto salon. but I can look into it
This build is very disturbing 😂. Awesome fabrication skills and attention to detail.
This seriously is my favorite e36 on UA-cam
5:48 I’ve been following this car on IG for months. I thought the fender were rolled. Immaculate work *chefs kiss*
Massive respect for re-installing the diff and going back to 4WD. Definitely the right move and good self-reflection.
This is an incredible build but it might have gone too far also I would hope it’s less than 1250kg that’s only 140kg less than my stock e36
With a thule box to! Where did u get that?!
This video is stolen from the UA-camr @gingium, so go ask there
Very nice. I would just like to put a BMW badge on the wheels.
Glad shes back in the US we need to speak and Automotive network with you asap please send us a DM with you contact info as we like to invite you into our AntiStockTeam Automotive Group

Nice lap. Other than the elevation changes, how did your Assetto Corsa experience compare to the real thing? Did you feel kinda "at home" when you went out on your first couple of laps? I've heard from a couple of sim drivers that the first times you drive the real thing you're scared of everything and everybody until your brains notice that you've actually done every corner hundreds of times already. Seems like you were chilling! Did you try messaging Misha? Your car seems like something he'd love to drive.
In my experience - the real thing - Nurburgring is way different to the game Assetto Corsa. In some weird way the track feels narrow in real life and those elevation changes and bumps are on a whole different level compared to the game. Nothing really prepares you for it. It is nice having played the game so that you know which corners are coming up and what to expect - like where you should stay floored or where you should brake hard for a tight corner. There are many places you can get caught out not knowing the track. I would honestly not let Misha drive this car - he is best suited to cars that have traction control. The raw cars are for the raw drivers. (like a guy called toeandheel on youtube) that guy has talent not just a lot of laps under his belt.
Haha. Totally. I felt right at home the first lap track wise. But the traffic was new to me. And also finding grip limits of the surface and tires was new because I’d never driven that car or tire close to the limit outside of the track day at spa a few days before this. The Nordschleife was just a lot bumpier than I knew from the sim. But I knew the track like the back of my hand corner wise. Just always some obstacle coming over each hill. Yellow flags, random fluid spills were a possibility.. I also needed to drive the car for the rest of the trip so I was driving 7-8/10ths most of the laps. And honestly the big long straights I wouldn’t be matted just because I didn’t want to run the risk of hurting the car as it’s never seen such conditions on pump gas. Caution was taken. I spoke with Misha as I’ve been chatting with him since he had under 50k subs on UA-cam. And yeah our schedules just didn’t line up.
I concur with all of these statements. I love heel toe. I’ve been looking up to him for years now. Talented dude. And yes TC is a must for some. No need to go full send in another persons baby for UA-cam views. 7/10ths would be fine. But hey what do I know. The track is bumpier and does feel narrow. But it’s just because there are consequences for missteps in RL bs the game
Thanks, this shit is awesome. Loved seeing this car again at road atlanta
Nice, can't wait to do this one day think you nailed it the game doesn't put in the elevation changes so you don't notice it at all when in game but I can imagine in person it's very different
Already a full professional after two visits 😄
I mean it's all the car I just put the accelerator and it goes
@@Mrsteeledrives fun and easy (not) 😆
Gimmie this over a hyper car any day, you get there faster and with boot space!
Perfect
Black flagged for driving like an absolute helmet....great work lads....lifetime ban from the circuit....
