What are your thoughts on the Braun All-in-One Style Kit Series 7 7440? Little less $ (fewer attachments) than the Series 9 9449. Seems like a better value.
If those are the accessories you need, then go for it. The runtime is almost half that of the PRO Series 9. But with 100 minutes, you can still get a few shaves in before needing to charge. It doesn’t have AutoSense, which adjusts speed based on beard density, but you can always ask how necessary that feature really is. I also see that you get the fade guard with this model, which is something I really appreciate. I’m sure you’ll be satisfied with it! Let me know when you’ve tried it, maybe I’ll try it myself 😊.
The series 9 is only $15 more than the pro series 7 so probably worthwhile to get the series 9. This will be used exclusively for short stubble trimming and cheek/neck lineups.
You should do a video with your average beard routine! I'd like to see that! MAybe I can learn something. I wear a pretty similiar beard to you and I've seen in other videos that you're also using the DE safety razor for detailining and such. So maybe that would be a video idea, that you just show your normal average beard routine, whilst using the tools that you actually use instead of showcasing a product for this video then. Cheers! :)
Hi there! I started working on a video that was meant to show how to go about shaving, like a beginner’s video, where I demonstrate a bit of how I do it. Unfortunately, some things have happened in my personal life that I need to deal with. I’m in a very dark place right now. I hope to get back on track soon. I hope you understand and can wait, but right now you wouldn’t recognize me if you saw me. Best regards/Philip
Are you from "Limburg", you talk so sssssslllloooowwww, I almost felt in sleep...🤪
Haha, thank you for the feedback I guess? You’re not the first that has commented that, I’ll try to do better next time! Take care!
Hey so the body groom shaver head doesn’t pivot right? I wanted to get that one because of the back attachment. What do you use for your back since the 7000 doesn’t come with a back attachment. Or do you not trim your back?
I think that Philips bg 7025 works very well, what happened was that the grooming head was worn out, I bought a new head to the device and now works well again, but the new head is not as good as thee original part and that is petty. And last thing, I use it for my back and works very well for that. /Philip
@@Philip.315 but it doesn’t come with a back attachment like the Phillips body groom 5000 does, so how do you reach your back without a back attachment?
@@BobRoss-wm3lc yes that is true. I would guess that the 5000 model is as good as the bg7025 when it comes to shaver and power, but you well get a better reach with the 5000. That is my believes, I think you can reach quite good on the back with the bg7025 at least when it comes to my own problem areas. Just feel to reach out if you have more questions! good luck.
@@Philip.315 have you tried the 5000?
whats the best all in one trimmer overall in your opinion
should i get 2 seperate trimmers for body and face or get the all in ones??
Philips is good, and you get a lot of accessories, whereas the Braun model I tested came with fewer accessories, but overall I really liked it. So, you should ask yourself, what are your needs? For me, the Braun BT PRO Series 9 is enough, and I supplement it with a regular razor, but just because it suits me doesn’t mean it will suit you. When it comes to body trimming, I think the Philips BG 7025 does a good job in terms of the shaving finish.
Have you used philips 7950 and xiaomi tras machines, which is better? And which one cuts more easily without a title?
I think it’s the 7920 model that I tried in my video (14-in-one), but if I compare it with the Xiaomi Grooming & Shaver Kit Pro, which I’ve also tried and made a video on, the Philips models win every day of the week. The only difference between the Philips models is that you can get different combinations of accessories and possibly shorter battery life (I’m not entirely sure about that), but in terms of performance, and the Philips click system compared to Xiaomi, Philips is much better. I hope this answers your question. Feel free to reach out if you have more questions.
@@Philip.315yess thanks 🎉
Thank you for the Video:) Does the charger support 100v AND 230v input? I would like to buy one in japan and use it in Europe.
Thank you! It looks like you can use both voltages, but the text on the charger is really faint, and I can barely read it even with my glasses on. You might also need to consider getting a plug adapter, depending on the wall socket types in the European country you're visiting, as they can vary. Good luck!
it seems that it doesn't cut the beard almost to zero... I'm used to the oneblade and it seems much worse as a result or am I wrong? If I can ask you a couple more questions. I have always used the Philips OneBlade but perhaps it has lost power over time and now tends to pull out the hair, I would like to ask you if you knew if the Bodygroom 5000 was able to cut the hair almost to zero like the OneBlade does, I don't know if you know this model but it is the one with the back extender and I believe that the body blade is identical to the old 7000 that you have. Also I know very well that this part is not designed for the beard, but do you think having the regulating combs would it be possible to do it anyway? Finally I would like to ask you if you have tried the back extender accessory, as I am undecided whether to get this razor or another one specifically for this feature. Thanks
Thanx for the question! I know exactly which model you mean. I was actually considering buying it myself at one point but ended up getting new blades for my BG7025 instead. The 5000 packaging says "Norelco," which is the part that some people say you don't get when you order replacement parts. Instead, they claim you get a slightly inferior copy from Philips. Why they do this, I don’t know, but I did write to them, and they responded saying they couldn’t answer my question. To answer your question, I personally feel that the Bodygroom gives a better finish on the body and is quicker compared to the OneBlade. So, if you’re looking for a body groomer that provides a good shaving finish on different body areas, the BG5000 might be a better choice. With the OneBlade, you often have to go over the same spot several times before you start seeing decent results. As for the combs, I can't say for sure whether they'll work well or not since I haven’t tried them. Lastly, I’m quite confident that you can use it on your neck and nape as well.
@@Philip.315 Thank you very much, and instead do you think it would be possible to use it as a beard trimmer?
@@marcospalluto. I'm hesitant to answer that, as I have no idea if it would work for that. But you can get the Philips BG7025 for about the same price range, and with that, you have a dedicated trimmer side.
@@Philip.315 yes I know perfectly well but it wouldn't have the back extension arm 😅
@@marcospalluto. Do a MacGyver, a stick and duct tape solves the problem 😉haha
Good review 👍
Thank you!
Hi, the Pro Contour shaver head, does it cut almost as well as a professional trimmer?
I would say that it’s a trimmer that comes quite close to a professional one, and also to the Philips 7000 model if we’re only looking at the trimmer itself and not the accessories and other extras, in which case I prefer Braun. But of course, this is a matter of personal preference. I just think with Braun you get a really nice finish and good value for the money.
@@Philip.315 Between the two, which one do you recommend in terms of cleaning the neck and cheeks before switching to a shaver or razor blade? Which one cuts shorter? Is the Braun Pro Countour comb worth the extra money compared to the Philips?
@@matteoceci5792 That’s a tough one to answer. I don’t know how the shaving part is on the Braun model, as it’s not available here in Sweden, while it is in other countries. But if it’s as good as Philips, then Braun is the clear winner. So unfortunately, I can’t really answer that question. I’m considering seeing if I can order a separate part from Braun to try it out.
@@Philip.315 I actually saw that in this video you used that comb to shave your neck and cheeks, at minute 9
@@matteoceci5792 You'll have to excuse me, I completely misunderstood what you wrote. Sometimes when you translate directly from English to Swedish, things get mixed up (like a short-circuit). 'Neck' in English translates to 'nacke' in Swedish, meaning the back of the neck. However, in this case, 'neck' can also refer to 'throat' (hals in Swedish), which makes more sense here. Now I understand what you meant. Sometimes it’s also hard to follow whether we’re talking about shaving or trimming, as we tend to use the word 'shave' for both. I think if you're planning to use it to trim down a bit before shaving, you'd probably need to let it grow out for a few days-at least that's the case for me. I have pretty sensitive skin, so if I shave too often, I get some irritation and redness. But based on the video at around 9 minutes in, it works okay.
Hi what device do you use
The brand is called "infraredi" and the model I owns is "flex max", but there are so many brands you can choose between to day, such as "block blue light" "Mitolight" "hooga" and many other. I made a comparison list a while ago between different brands in terms of size categories. The prices are not updated, and neither are the models. I've noticed that some brands have launched new models or updated the old ones, but usually, there isn't much of a price change when that happens. There are discount codes included, which you can use to get 5-10% off depending on the brand-every little bit helps. Let me know if you have any further questions. Link to the comparison list docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1D4sE4wRMc22BbLB9n0Ls0akBBO_KW1d7H4aceZ4v6ac/edit?gid=654882071#gid=654882071
I am currently using the ConairMAN Super Stubble. I’ve had for 6 years and it’s time for a new one. I’ve tried many trimmers and can’t seem to find one that works best for my needs. I prefer easy length adjustments (no guard add-ons) and a powerful motor. One front runner is the Brio BeardScape Beard Trimmer v2 with the zero blade add-on. Pricey but may work for my needs. Would the Philips OneBlade Pro be a good choice to maintain 1-2mm stubble and lineups of cheeks/neck? A huge negative is having to buy replacement blades.
Hi @Adamas11! I totally get where you're coming from. It's tough to switch after using a product for so long. The Brio BeardScape v2 looks great with its powerful motor and adjustments, but it is quite pricey. If you're focused on short beard trimming, I'd recommend the Braun Pro Beard Trimmer Series 9 as a cheaper option. I’ve been really happy with it. If you're considering the Philips OneBlade, remember that the blade replacements add up over time. Personally, I use the Braun Pro BT Series 9 alongside the Braun X BT5200. If you find a good deal, you could save $60-90 compared to the Brio (take the numbers with a grain of salt). I’m curious, though-what makes the Brio so expensive? Hope this helps! Let me know if you have more questions. Good luck! /Philip
@@Philip.315 I just watched your video on the Braun Pro Beard Trimmer Series 9. Very informative review. I may have to try that one. The US version is All-in-One/13-in-1 which is overkill in my opinion, but worth a shot. I am not sure what makes the Brio BeardScape so expensive. It seems very well built and has a powerful, variable speed motor with 240 minutes of trim time. It has a built-in micro-adjuster that allows you to set the blade to 1mm (the lowest setting), 1.3mm, 1.6mm, or 1.9mm. That would suite my stubble length ranges (can also use the 1mm/2mm guard). For lineups of cheeks and neck, I’d have to buy the zero blade (0.2mm add-on). If I can a good sales can get the trimmer, zero blade and case for about $120. 🤔 this one may be worth a shot as well…
@@Adamas11 Wow, then you've found better prices than me, then the numbers I sent you don't apply. I found here from Sweden a page that had a sale on the Brio V2 for around 230 dollars. But it feels like you are determined on which lengths you want to use, it has better precision than Braun if you start from the numbers you use. But I might be willing to try it in the future if I manage to find a good deal for around $120 :)
@@Philip.315 Yep, the Brio BeardScape might just be the one! They offer 90 days return policy (hopefully flexible, no hassle returns), so it’s worth a shot.
@@Adamas11 Let me know what you think of it
The other guys video where he was complaining about the guards was a pretty ridicolous attempt to get people to buy some of his affiliate linked products. Absoute trash take from him imo. There is literally ZERO point in pressing the trimmer with the guard agianst your face. Why would you do that? What happens also then is that you even start to press your skin between the spaces of the guard, so just by that itself you will get a dirty cut. So why doing that in the first place?
Haha, that’s exactly what I was thinking too, but I didn’t want to focus on it since my videos tend to get long enough as it is. Maybe I should start roasting other channels, haha! I can’t remember what his channel is called, but I was shocked by how many followers he had. How do people manage that?
I've literally just come from that video 😂
@@Philip.315 haha no, I think you're better without "roasting" other channels. I did it here now, because I was a bit annoyed of his video but in general, it's much better to not point finger on others, even if that's nowadays part of the YT game. I mean, ofc if one just respectfully disagrees with other people, then this is different, but then this is not "roasting" anymore. Just keep doing what you're doing and focus on your own content, which is great btw. Hope your channel will grow!
@@L4WNY.. What a coincidence! haha
Is a shame that you had issues with your 7000 series model. I have two for a long time now and both works just fine. It can happen to any of this kind of devices. Now, don’t tell me the one blade pro is better than the 7000 . The 7000 is much more solid, ergonomic better built for the purpose ( body shaving), thanks to the shape of the head .
I don’t think I said it that way. In fact, I misspoke in the video when I mentioned the 7000 model-it’s actually the BG7025 model I’m holding in my hand. I do think the Philips 7000 model, or the 'All-in-One,' is a stronger device than the OneBlade and comes with a lot more accessories. However, when it comes to lighter shaving and trimming, I find the OneBlade more convenient to work with compared to the 7000 model. That being said, there’s no right or wrong here-it all comes down to personal preference. If the 7000 model (not the BG7025) had a better click system and more ergonomic design, it would definitely be my top choice. Thanks for sharing your experience and opinion. /Philip
Thank you for posting this content, very informative and helpful. I've been using an old Wahl trimmer and Gillette battery styler. They are so old and are missing all of the attachments now so I've been badly trying to manage my short beard freestyle with some very uneven results, so time for an upgrade. Some really good deals in the UK at the moment on this Braun model and thanks to your video Braun now have another customer. Keep up with the great content.
Wow, thank you so much! Hope you find it as good as I do.
how long are you on it for ?
I'm in my second year.
@@Philip.315how many minutes a day I meant and how long on face etc
@@melvinp1324 That's a good question. It depends on the strength of your panel. I've become more cautious and keep more distance (30-40 cm) while holding sessions under 10 minutes, three times a week. I'll be discussing this in my next red light video, where I'll talk about what I've learned over the past two years and the results I've achieved. I hope this answers your question, feel free to reach out if you have more questions. Best regards, Philip
@@Philip.315 that would be great to know i have gone for the ROJO refine 900 .. i think there are settings on this one with timings ,, but would love to know thoughts
@@melvinp1324 It appears that you can choose pre-set programs for specific treatments, but I have a few questions regarding the optimal distance. Does the app indicate the correct distance you should maintain from the panel? The farther away you are, the weaker the light intensity. It's all about the dosage you receive per treatment, which is measured in joules. This is calculated by multiplying the treatment time ( per s) by the power output in mW/cm², giving you the total joules, or the dosage you're exposed to. I'm planning to make a video on this, as I'm convinced that many devices might be too powerful, which suggests we should probably reduce treatment times. This might be a bit advanced, but these are my current thoughts on the matter.
Thanks for showing us how to use the extended trimmer at 6:00 . I say US, because it's the most seeing part of the video. so I'm not alone LOL. I just tried it and it works very well.

Nice video! You are sexy with and without clothing haha. I think this is a good review, but it´s a pity from Xiaomi is not a good device, I´m a bit disappointed. Still considering to buy it, because my beard is not very long and thick as yours so maybe it works for me. IMO the best thing of this device is USB-C and level of battery, which seems maybe not iportant for others, but I think we should care about cthis, and dont let other brands like Philips, Braun, etc use other connectors. I think it would be great if they included a base to put the device vertically meanwhile is charging (some devices from other brands have it, like Philips body groomer or older models from Braun, don´t know why it is not very popular today, is a good way to have the device ready in the toilet or anywhere). What device is the best nowadays for you? Braun? Philips? what model? thanks!
Thanks for your comment! Glad you liked the video, and I appreciate you sharing your thoughts. Regarding the Xiaomi device, I totally understand your disappointment. It really comes down to personal preference - it depends on your needs and what you prioritize. If you have a thinner or shorter beard, it might work better for you, but personally, I think it's worth spending a bit more for a higher-quality device. I agree that the USB-C and battery level indicator are handy features, and it’s definitely something more brands should consider. The charging stand idea is also a great point! It would be really convenient to have a vertical charging base, like some of the models from Braun or Philips. As for the best device nowadays, I’d say both Braun and Philips offer really solid options, depending on what you’re looking for. For thicker beards, I’d recommend the Braun Series 9 or the Philips Norelco 9000 or "the all in one "series - all of them have performed really well in my experience. Good luck with your purchase, and feel free to ask if you have any other questions! Have a great day!
@@Philip.315 Thanks so much for your reply! It was so complete and well done! I´ve tried a Philips for the body and Braun for body and beard, and in my opinion, the accesories for body are better in Philips: they are smoother and no problems with them. Meanwhile the accesory from Braun was irritating my skin and pulling from my hairs some times, even cutting my skin sometimes (eventhough i changed the accesory 3 times and it breaks sooner than the Philips one too). Hope European Union forces all these brands to use USB-C. It´s amazing a Chinese brand is the only one using it, isn´t it? Could you send a link from the Philips Norelco? when I look for it, there are so many similar models, thanks. And what do you think about Philips series 7000? I watched your video as well, very good, but I mean... Is it better for beard and body? thanks!
Good video! The instructions included with the Braun are just pictures and seriously lacking in detail. Your video answered all my questions. Thank you so much.
Glad you liked it. What’s a shame, and something I didn’t manage to include, is that it makes a sound when it needs to be charged. It sounds silly, but in a stressful situation, you want everything to be charged and ready. Definitely an appreciated detail from my side. /Philip

A new brand for me, I looked at it a bit today, and there are no direct retailers here in Sweden. I’ll keep looking, but from what I can see, it’s a pure beard trimmer without any extra accessories apart from the guards?
It's great for an everyday shave. Not as close as a razor, but much nicer for the skin.
I can agree that you can shave more often compared to using a traditional razor without getting irritated skin, but the result is not as good.
@@MacrisMaQ I’m sorry for the 'translation,' I was typing on my phone and forgot to switch to the English keyboard, so everything came out wrong. I then quickly used Google Translate to translate my Swedish text. Typing on my phone is something I usually avoid; I'm more of a person who calls people to ask how they’re doing. Maybe it’s old-fashioned, but there’s usually no room for misunderstandings that way. PS: There’s no right or wrong in this, I could just as easily be wrong in my videos. This is all about personal taste. Have a great day!

Here’s the translation: It's okay for a quick shave, but otherwise it's been sitting in the drawer more or less since I recorded. I sometimes use a similar Braun model to shave a bit off the neck. But what bothers me the most is the price of the blades.
@@Philip.315 well I have a wahl wet and dry shaver it does a decent job replacing the foil and blade cost about 17 gbp and they last me well over a year

8.6 pounds in 9 days! That's dramatic.
Well, the only interesting thing about this experiment was that I didn’t lose muscle volume or strength; otherwise, I found the weight loss to be so-so. But you can't have other expectations when you’re 'burning' fat (it takes time). My personal conclusion is that red light hasn’t reduced any fat or increased fat burning, but there might be a chance that it helped maintain muscle mass. I learned a lot from making this video and from the small critiques I received
Thank you very much for your great review and helpful tutorial . I recently purchsed this model and, you are correct in saying that Braun needs to get better with marketing their trimmer products. Your video answered all my questions and more ! It certainly is more detailed description than the pictograms included in the Users Guide ! Thanks again ! I subsribed to and liked your page . Cheers !
Thank you so much for the feedback and compliments, and for following the channel. I've had a lot going on lately, so I've felt guilty about not delivering videos. I’m currently in the process of uploading a video explaining why I’ve been away. But your feedback really encourages me to keep going. Cheers, or as we say in Sweden, skål!
Hey i just subscribed to you i started grooming my own beard, im looking for a trimmer that gets a good clean sharp cut when i use the trim to contour my mustache and line up my beard to be sharp/clean close to shaven cut. And also to fade up which do you recommend the braun or the phillips. My beard hair is a bit tough as well btw. Thank you for your reviews man i needed a channel like this!
Here’s the translation: "Thank you so much for following the channel and for the nice compliment. This is just as difficult every time someone asks me this. But I think that if you find the Braun model with the shaving attachment-the part I didn't get with mine-I would buy it just because it has a more premium feel and is simply better designed than Philips (small details that I appreciate). If you want a lot of options with decent quality, Philips is the better choice. I can add that Braun serie 9 fade guard is suitable for fading around the ears and neck, and works okay on the beard I use all the time. I hope this answers your question. Best regards, Philip.
@@Philip.315 thank you soo much for your fast reply i think i will go for the braun series then indeed, the shaving attachment is that the procontour attachment? I will try to look it up and go for that one then it looked really well and easy how you handled the beard with the braun!
@@ands2873 I've recorded a video intended for those who are a bit new to beard trimmers and shaving. It might not be relevant for you, but in the video, I show that I use both the B PRO Series 9 and the B-X Series (bt5200), a very nice combination that I always use and can actually recommend.

Haha, I've thought about that too, that people might associate my name with being a "Philips" channel. I guess I'll have to rename myself. I'm glad you liked it, I'll be back on screen soon. I've had a lot going on, lately and I caught the new COVID virus, which has made me really tired. /Philip
Red light works well for buring fat because mithocondria have more energy and consume more .. also, It works for Eye sight as yes have a lot of mithocondria .. also it increases stamina and testosterone when you are applying It tò your balls .. also It has done wonders for my enlarged prostate since it improves blood flow, relaxes the muscles around the prostate and lowers inflammation.. there are so many benefits .. its really incredible
@drooyrich1279 Thank you for sharing your experience with red light therapy. While some studies do suggest potential benefits, I'm not entirely convinced about certain health claims. The research in some areas, such as fat burning and testosterone enhancement, is still limited and sometimes questionable. Many studies do not clearly detail their methodologies, which makes it difficult to fully trust the outcomes. It's essential to approach these claims with caution and to rely on well-documented research before drawing conclusions. But I'm glad to hear it's been helpful for you!
Winner?
Hi Hakan_srf! If I had tried the shaving part of the Braun and it was as good as Philips, I would have chosen Braun without hesitation. I also believe it depends on what you're looking for. As it stands, I only use my Braun devices, the Braun Series 9 and BT5200, and occasionally shave with a traditional razor. Like I said, it's hard to give a straight answer about which one is the best when it really comes down to your personal needs and preferences. Personally, I appreciate Braun's sleek design, well-thought-out accessories, and technology. But if you want all the possible attachments, Philips might offer more value. I hope this helps! Feel free to reach out if you have any more questions.

Hi. I do have the One Blade pro. I just noticed how expesive the blades are. Also, I noticed that after just 3 months they dont shave well anymore. Thats why Im going to buy the 9000! I like that the 9000 has also many guards included so not only i can go for a shorter beard but also longer more than 10mm. Thank you for your video!
Hi! Thank you so much for your feedback and for sharing your experience with the OneBlade Pro. I understand how frustrating it can be with the expensive blades that don’t last as long as you’d like. It sounds like the Series 9000 will be a great fit for you, especially with all the different guards for adjusting your beard length. As a side note, Braun has a model called the BT5200, which is somewhat similar to the OneBlade. The blades last around 6 months and cost between $17-$20, and the trimmer itself is around $40. The downside, however, is that it doesn’t have an adjustable dial for the length; instead, you have to switch out fixed guards up to 5mm. Just a tip if you’re looking for a smaller model! I’m glad the video was helpful, and I hope you’ll be happy with your new trimmer! /Philip
@@Philip.315 Hi. Thank you for your suggestion. I checked the website and it seems like the guard for the XTC is max 5mm which is a shame. It seems like its very hard to a find a device that can provide full grooming experience. I have 2 questions: 1) For the 9000, would I need to replace the head after certain time period? 2) Which microphone do you use in your videos?
There's not only a single response to a vitamin. Hence focusing on a few markers in a cell culture may not be clinically meaningful at all. It is a step for further research at best. Only clinical results with normal human cancers can give data on the actual effect.
Thank you for your comment! I agree that it’s important not to draw too drastic conclusions from individual studies, especially when it comes to cell culture research, which may not fully reflect what happens in the human body. It’s true that we need more robust clinical data to understand the actual effects of vitamins like vitamin C. At the same time, I’ve noticed that some researchers and doctors are starting to shift their tone regarding certain vitamins, including vitamin C. There seems to be growing interest in exploring their potential more thoroughly, and some recent findings suggest we might only be scratching the surface. And if you think about it, why wouldn’t cancer cells be able to benefit from vitamins just like other cells? The article really made me pause and reflect on this. It’s an exciting time for further research, and I’m looking forward to seeing how the scientific discussion evolves. Thanks again for your input-it’s always valuable to hear different perspectives on such important topics. Best regards/Philip
Hi! I watched all your videos/shorts regarding shavers/trimmers/groomers as you are the only decent person actually testing and comparing everything out. I'd like to buy a gift for my bf and I cannot still decide what to get for him. I am torn between the Philips Body Groomer and the Braun 9 based on his needs. So I think his preference will be something he can use for/as: - Clean cut/close shave on his face - Armpit/Groin area shaving Which trimmer/groomer can fulfill both of these?
Also considering Philips One Blade Pro as well!
Thank you so much for watching my videos and for the kind words! 😊 I’m glad you found the comparisons helpful. Based on what you've described, both the Philips Body Groomer and the Braun 9 are great options, but I believe the Philips might be better meet your boyfriend’s needs, simply because it offers more accessories. The Braun 9 does have a shaving attachment available in some regions (which unfortunately I didn’t receive), but I’m confident it’s at least as good as the Philips option. Personally, I prefer the Braun, especially for its fade guard, which works quite well around the ears and neck. I also appreciate the ergonomic grip and small details like the low battery warning. However, considering the specific needs you've mentioned, I think Philips is likely the better choice. I’m not sure if they’ve renamed the model to Multigroomer or Philips All-in-One, but I know they’ve added an auto-sense function, similar to what Braun offers, which adjusts power based on the thickness of the hair. This could be particularly useful for maintaining consistent performance across different areas of the body. I hope my answer helps! If you have any more questions, feel free to reach out. Good luck with your decision!"

@@Shivaaaaaaaaaa Considering the needs you’ve described, I think the Philips 7000 series might be a better option in this case. That said, you could also consider getting both options, or the Braun BT5000, because it's both cheaper and just as good, or even better than the OneBlade for certain tasks. When it comes to these smaller models, I find myself using them when I’m in a hurry and need a quick shave. However, for more thorough grooming and trimming, I personally find the larger models to be more effective.

They still sell that old model under the body groomer category.
Hi Omar, I believe they are trying to include it in all categories, but from what I can see, they are calling it the "Philips all in one," which might be an update, or "Philips multigroomer." It feels like they've changed some accessories and may have added auto-sense to certain models. Here in Sweden, stores rename the model numbers with a letter or number so that they can't be price-compared since some stores have a price guarantee.

Hello Philip, I decided to buy Philips 7000 after watching your video. But there is a options like 7930-7940-7950 what is the difference between these?
Hello, thank you for your question. Off the top of my head, it’s possibly the accessories or the battery. I just looked at one model, and it had automatic speed adjustment, similar to what Braun has in its 9000 model. I think this is something new, or I might have missed that some variants of the 7000 model have it. I’ll look into it a bit more. I’ll be back
@@Philip.315 I'm waiting for you (:
@@mehmetcan3079 It wasn't easy to discern the differences, but here's what I've found from Philips' Swedish site, which might be different from information in other countries, at least when it comes to the "Braun" brand. The main differences lie in the accessories; all models have the same battery life and feature Beard Sense technology that detects beard density and adjusts the speed to provide optimal trimming. Otherwise, it's the accessories that set them apart. The 7940 and 7950 models includes a superior cutting blade, which I believe is wider and better for precise edging. They also come with more attachments for body grooming. Other than that, I couldn't identify any further differences. As mentioned, double-check this information yourself as it may vary between countries. Speaking of Philips' website, I highly recommend checking for sales. I snagged a great deal there with a 40% discount, definitely worth a look. Good luck! Best regards, Philip
@@Philip.315 I just double checked. As you say there is one more attachment, superior cutting blade. But 7940 or 7950 does not have body grooming attachment. At least for Turkey. Thank you for information (:

I wouldn't recommend this to anyone. I've owned the previous version and what I saw in this review is that there's no difference in the trims and shaves. This product is basically meant for high school kids whom have light beards.
Thank you for sharing your thoughts. I appreciate your perspective. I also found that this trimmer is best suited for those with shorter or lighter beards. In my review, I gave it a rating of 3 to 3.5 out of 5 because, while it works well for trimming/shaving my neck and upper cheeks, it may not be ideal for those with thicker beards. However, I don't entirely agree that it is only suitable for high school kids. I hope you found some value in the video or at least found it entertaining. Have a great day! /Philip

Thank you so much, I'm glad you enjoyed the video. I got curious myself, so I think I'll try to order the part from them. I'll include a link to the site. Please let me know how it goes. Best regards, Philipservice.braun.com/gb/en
