@@4damula rhats great yes the laws are different in different areas I am just trying to make people aware of their e-bike laws before they go out and spend a lot of money

technically this bike is illegal in Oakland too... there's just not much enforcement. the thing about the wired is that it looks like a "bike", and isn't something obviously not legal like a Surron. Cops aren't generally checking wattage since nominal and peak wattage are different things and the law is somewhat ambiguous as to what it refers to, and also wattage doesn't really matter the same way speed does. but a class 2 e-bike is limited to 20mph, while a class 3 is limited to 28mph, but isn't allowed to have a throttle. again the throttle thing on class 3 is pretty ridiculous and for the most part cops don't care about that. But if a cop clocks you over 30mph you might get pulled over. Generally speaking tho, if you aren't riding a "dirt bike" like a Talaria or Surron, and are riding that looks like a bike, and riding it like a bike and not being a menace, cops will tend to have better things to do. For the most part the cops are cracking down on packs of kids and young adults riding dirt bikes around recklessly and popping wheelies and generally causing trouble. They, in general, really don't care about the guy riding responsibly on the street on a bike that technically is too fast for arbitrary e-bike laws. But you do still have to worry about the one cop that is a stickler or something. Also, if you are riding an illegal e-bike because you have a suspended license for a DUI, or something like that, and you get pulled, they will throw the book at you for that (because technically a Wired Freedom is not an e-bike because it doesn't meet the standards, and so it is thus a "motor driven cycle" that is not properly registered and lacks required safety features, and so they will start stacking driving without a license and registration and all sorts of bad.) I also have an "grey area" e-bike that I rode for a while and never had any trouble with cops. I eventually decided to just get an M1 license and now have a road legal electric scooter, and use the bike when I want to do bike things, and the scooter when I am using it like a motorcycle. I received mine in perfect condition. But I'm starting to get the dreaded wobble. I reached out to customer service, and they told me to tighten the stem bolt. They also sent me a message about applying to receive a head bender to fix it, If tightening the stem bolt doesn't fix the issue. I'm getting the wobble riding one-handed. for a 2,000 bike. This is disappointing

@4damula When did you order it? It should've already had the hellbender headset on it depending on when you ordered it. Tightening the stem bolt doesn't do 💩. Except make your steering tighter and harder to turn.

@@4damula I ordered mine on the 24 of September and received mine on October 7th too and mine came with the hellbender headset on it. You'd have to take the handle bar and clamp off in order to see and read the patent number that's on there and look it up.

My bike doesn't make noise pushing forward. It makes noise pushing it in reverse

You won't be disappointed. Contact them for the headbender. You're going to get the wobble when you run the second battery. It's disappointing it didnt come installed already since multiple customers are having the same problem.

@@4damula yeh was thinking needs the same voltage think fixed it think my battery was just cold as now its stuck on 2 vars and i put it in the drone amd the drone powers on stright away bit i hane no laptop till tomorrow to plug in to do the firmware updates

@@4damula perfect as where you have the wires crossed in the video made it seem like positive goes to negative, hence why you prob got a spark
