I have the same kit and had the same result with the adapter for our 2000 GMC pickup. The problem lies in the rubber seals. They are too thin and by the time they are compressed you run out of threads. I had a similar issue years ago with a metal adapter for SAAB cooling systems. The brake master cylinder reservoir was the same thread as the coolant reservoir. I added a second rubber seal from an old brake fluid reservoir cap and the problem was solved. We used the cooling system pump to pressure bleed the brakes and hydraulic clutches on SAABs in addition to testing the cooling system. I decided to keep the kit as it is only $35. I just need to find a flat rubber seal to add to the adapter cap.

So I'm guessing you might have problems. But I have also had it plugged in and got the green light from too. The craftsman v series ratchet is dog 💩. You're better off saving twice that money you would've spent on a v series and bought a Ko-ken ratchet. Ko-ken got one of the lightest ((backdrag)) in the industry. I would also buy a quick spinner from them to pair up with the ratchets when you're loosening or starting a fastener. Ko-ken ratchets are a treat to work with. Once you handle a ko-ken you start being more critical of other brands more.

My favorite of the Craftsman ratchets is the Model CMMT86722 if looking at 3/8-in. Minimal back drag, push button lock, serviceable and very thin. As for this model I have one as well. I tried lube through the lever then soaked it in motor oil for a day. No improvement. I then ran it on a drill and still no improvement. My thought is the gear size and pawl size is what is causing the back drag. Ratchets with the least back drag in my experience have either a split paw design or a small paw and gear. I'd bet this ratchet will hold a bunch of torque.

No need to soak it. Apply WD-40 specialist silicone lubricant to under selector switch and work it in. There is no seal there. It's only gonna help the back drag a bit because the pawl springs are too stiff. However, they are very durable.

Back drag is the term you were looking for. It's the latest hot topic. Stanley Black & Decker kind of bombed with the V Series. The ratchets resemble their Mac and Proto cousins but lack the latter's serviceability. That is a turnoff for me. I have an ICON long 3/8 flex head ratchet with comfort grip and it is o.k. but not impressive. The V Series version retailed at $75. The ICON retailed at $54. The DieHard version from Advance Auto retails for under $40 and is a far better ratchet than the V Series or ICON. They have a smooth ratchet mechanism with fairly low back drag. Any of the Apex Tools lineup (Gearwrench, Duralast, Husky and SATA) are far better ratchets than the V Series or ICON. Merry Christmas and congratulations on 1K subs!

I bought the same compressor made by MAT Industries for Dewalt. I have the same unit painted red and sold as a Craftsman brand purchased at Lowes. It is about a year old but minutes of run time, not hours. My compressor seized up. When I pulled it away from the wall, I could see oil everywhere down the tank to the floor. When I took it apart, the flywheel was not tight and fell off in my hand. The compressor leaked at the crankshaft with a seal that was not tight at all. When I first purchased it leaked at all of the exposed fittings. I was able to snug the up. Overall, this is horrible quality control. It's got the made in America stickers but parts sourced all over. I would have been better to purchase the cheap Chinese brand at Harbor Freight. I would be money ahead. Now I'm faced with getting a new compressor at my expense. Buy something other than this brand. It's a pretty unit with poor quality control.

Not sure. Seems to be slots on the front end of the center console where a cupholder or something could slip into place. Not sure how that would work with the bench seat though. The pull out tray with the cig lighter under the thermo/radio just has a couple coin/ash trays in it. I'll poke around ebay; I couldn't find any OEM ones elsewhere on the net

@havokmusicinc search 05 town car cup holders on ebay, I seen several pop up but I don't know what color interior you have. They kinda flip out and when they flip up they create the end of the center seat. Hope this helps, thanks for watching and commenting.

My 3rd town car ia a 98 that I got 3 years ago from the original owner Had 83k mikes, always garaged. The guy only put a few thousand miles a year on it Not a scratch on it...and I paid $2,500. It needed blend doors and a heater core, just like all my other town cars, which is why he lowered the price. Of course the rear air bags went and I converted to springs, as I did with my previous town cars And as expected the intske manifold is now leaking, same as the previous two did. The mechanical weak spots noted in the video are accurate and to be expected...and consistent in many years of the town cars Yet overall a great car that's reliable and a dream to drive. As long as you are prepared to make the eventual repairs as noted, you'll love the car

Man, thank you so much for doing this video. My first year having an inboard boat. It was a gift from a friend to my family. It’s a 2002 stingray with a penta 3.0 like yours. I was dreading winterizing it because I didn’t know how to. You gave great instructions and I did the winterizing of it as I watched your video. Thank you!

@billytreece2 no problem and thank you for watching and commenting and I'm glad you found the video helpful. Make sure there is no water in your outdrive behind the propeller. It typically drains naturally when you lower the outdrive but it's always good to double check.
