I just returned my zumo XT2 after using on two rides. It stopped charging while I was riding and eventually lost power, all due to vibrations I guess. Couldn't get it to stay on after that and could only charge it inside using a AC power port. It wouldn't charge off the factory USB port on my KLR650 adventure nor would it charge on the factory base and the power was run properly and the base was working as it was supposed to before the ride. Additionally, even when plugged in to the AC port, it was still doing this thing where it would power on to the Accept screen, I'd hit Accept, it would go to the main screen and then power back off. Did that ever since it died due to not charging on my bike. Another problem that developed quickly was when I would put in a destination and hit go, it would calculate and then go right back to the ready screen. I did a factory reset and it still did it! I ended up returning it due to all these issues and am now waiting on a Magellan TRX7. I would avoid this GPS if you ride anything rougher than a smooth gravel road.

Thanks for the video. I was unsuccessful installing mine but that's only because the factory torqued the side bars so tight that it literally twisted my 6mm! Got to find a stronger solution before I can continue but thankst to this video, I know exactly what to do!

As mentioned no service manual available at time this video made… 2024 TransAlp service manual lists 25 N-m (18 lbf-ft) as torque value for bottom bridge pinch bolts… Thanks for the incredible video!

These things work great! A pair of tin snips easily pop off those other bracket pieces, so you don't have to worry about zip tying anything that might start rattling later. Thanks for the great product!

Thanks for the vid manual. I have a 12v socket and heated grips (both Honda's) - is it still possible to install these lights in my bike? Or do I need a power splitter?

Maier has always been a second rate plastic reproduction company. When I vintage raced they were the only one for a long time that made plastic for the older motocross bikes. I got a klr 650 front fender from them and the louvre vents are not in the fender like my stock gen 1 Polisport makes quality plastic for gen2’s I wish they would make gen1 plastic.

Did the install but now my taillight isn't working. Break light os fine. Also plugged the tag light back into the harness to check and that wasn't working either. Weird.

Since this kit uses the accessory power port.. does it have a pass through to allow the installation of the OEM Honda 12v plug?

Would be great if you had something for the rear tail and brake lights. LED brake strobe module? Not enough lights on back.

Hello, Admittedly silly question that I also posted to one of your other great videos BUT - Is there a trick to getting fuel line reattached to pump?? I pulled my tank off of my 2022 KLR recently and am in the process of reassembling. The clips on the fuel line refuse to close. Being plastic Im nervous about applying to much pressure to the the clamp to close. Curious if you have any advice?? APPRECIATED!

Very nice tankbag.........BUT........in combination with my SWMotech storm handguards the magnet of the tankbag isn't strong enough en flies the cover in the air above 70 km/hour. 🤔 Dangerous en askes for a solution. I'll contact SW-motech about this.

hi there. I wonder if you can help me. I damaged the bottom front light Six pins connector plug. Iknow it's a sumitomo sealed plug, but I can't find the proper model specs. Is there any code by wich it is idendified? Thank you for your help.

I ride in NYC, and pot holes are horrible. I want a set of these auxiliary lights to run all the time, high or low beam. Focused more at the area in front of the bike. Can your harness accommodate that set up?
