Hey girl! I really hope you see this comment lol it might be long but here goes : so I have about 8 years of healthcare experience working mainly as a medical assistant. I just started a new job working for a dialysis clinic as a PCT. I have NEVER wanted to go into nursing until this year and I am 29 years old LOL! I graduated in 2017 with my BS in Kinesiology and I am wondering if those pre requisite courses needed for nursing school are eligible or if I will need to retake those courses? I heard in another one of your videos you were a social worker before going to nursing school. I always had a fear of going into nursing due to all of the feedback I’ve heard from nurses over the years but from whatever reason I feel God may be pushing me into this direction. What tips or advice can you give me in regards to this ? I would love to hear what you think and I really appreciate your videos ❤

How far was mahogany from Secret Beach? Is there a private beach on mahogany? If so, was there a lot of seaweed? Is it located near nightlife/bars/restaurants?

I feel like you are going through exactly what I’m going through this past semester. I didn’t want to or was not hardly interested in Geriatrics and I went in with a negative mindset. Now I have to retake it. Only God knows our journey and everything happens for a reason. Hang in there we got this!!

I remember LVN school (7 yrs ago), as an older student who worked a full-time, demanding job in the day and went to a full-time, accelerated program at night, I just kept my head down and minded MY business. I made a friend or two, but kept the number limited. One of my friends, a young 20-something, expressed annoyance at a group of students who she knew was cheating. I told her: What they eat don't make you fat. Do YOUR thing. Mind YOUR business. The NCLEX is the great equalizer. They seemingly breezed through while we were successful with challenges. How about not a single one of the 4 passed the NCLEX ... on the first or second time. Got eeeem! LOL SMH I'm starting RN school in January (hopefully) and will still work full-time, but at least I'm a nurse this time. I plan to use the same strategy as LVN school, keep my circle small & like-minded.

Having the summer semester off may seem like a bother but it is truly a blessing in disguise!! Take it from my experience. When I was in nursing school, my 2nd semester was in the summer and learning med-surg at an even faster pace was BEYOND stressful!! Take the summer to recharge yourself and finish strong! ❤️

I have a love hate relationship with ATI, but the CMS books are good to study from, they cut out all the extra fluff from our regular textbooks. Good luck on your journey

You're right, I really have watched a million of these videos lol 😅 This one is my favorite! It's real, on a budget (which I'm very much on) and not all super fancy stuff.
