The 5 inch has more power because the 7 and 8 are more efficient drivers

Flat is all that one should care about i have had most speakers and wouldn't work on krk they sound like hifi speakers there not flat

I totally understand your concept. I have done this a couple of times myself. Also my desk space is limited. I went from having different samplers to now just using the S2400. I had a big 24 channel Behringer mixer and downgraded to a 16ch Mackie. Now I just ordered a compact mixer with 8 channels that has everything I need. Like inserts in all 8 mono channels to connect my compressors and even inserts in the Master output that gives me the ability to use an EQ or a master bus compressor/limiter when I cop either one.

Bought these. I produce in a small apartment and they are just the right size for my need. The bass extension up to 80hz is good for the size. The mesh grills is a welcome addition, my cat broke my last studio monitor.... edit: The 7040a subwoofer is made to go with these. My next purchase :)

wow, I couldn't imagine that if you could turn the tweeter like the Adam A4V or 7V..and it doesn't have any problems installed like that?

The Genelec 8361a will be here in a few days… not sure if I will need a sub with those. However the Genelec sub is massive. Should I need a sub, I’m seriously considering this sub as an option. I’m just not sure if this sub will actually keep with the 8361a. What do you think?

No data is saved on the keyboard other then DAW name and settings for keyboard function, all midi map data is saved on your computer in the spicific DAW file location.

I think the Arturia Keylab MK2 and Akai MPK249 are very similar in the keyboard quality, pads, weight and size also all very similar. I'd say the Keylab essential looks a bit more modern as the MPK249 design was identical to the original MPK49 which is over 15 years old.

I think everyone knows who Yamaha are and how long they have been in the music gear. Yamaha HS5 Where always supposed to be monitor speakers and never home stereo speakers, hence why they are powered by a audio interface. Unless I'm missing something. Anyway your studio looks good, beats dope in the background.
