Strictly Fun Scale Modelling
Приєднався 26 лют 2023
Welcome to Strictly Fun Modelling!
I am Wojtek, come and join me at my workbench!
Modeling has accompanied me with breaks actually from early childhood throughout my whole life.
However, for several years it began to play an increasingly important role in it....
Why?
I am a father of three wonderful kids and the work I do carries a lot of psychological expense. Hence, seeking my asylum, I renewed my 'old' passion. Modeling has become my peaceful desert island. A place where I can unwind all the stresses of everyday life.
On this channel you will find my projects, tips, tricks and a handful of my personal opinions on models and tools ;)
Please remember that I am not a professional modeller. And in modeling I see art - an individual formula of expression - more than accuracy and historical correctness.
Above all, modeling is a great pleasure for me, and this is mainly what I want to share with you.
So? Have fun and keep modelling!!! :)

What color did you use as french blue?
Just a regular Light Blue from Tamiya. As it turns out they are very similar and after weathering I see no difference at all 👍
@@StrictlyFunScaleModelling could you tell me what ia the tamuia color number?
Sure thing! 👍 It is Tamiya XF-23 but please remember that I am not sure if it is historicaly correct 👍
Very nice
Thank You kindly! 👍
Hello from Sweden, Great build! Where did you get the tank crew?
I love kits with interior, nice work. Thanks for showing it 👌 Greetings from SK model building
Thank You kindly! Greetings to You too! 👍💪
why is the interior floor and engine compartment blue?
Yeah! Good question. Although I haven’t found any references that this color was really used, RFM is suggesting to use this one. Probably it should be this brown-red undercoat used by the Germans. But, this color lightens up the interior and makes colors pop a little bit more. And You know how flexible I am if it comes to historical correctness 😉👍
Великолепно!!!
Thank You kindly! 👍💪
Nice work 👍
Thank You kindly! 👍💪
Amazing Assembly! 👍
Thank You kindly! 🙇♂️👍💪
Very nice indeed 👌
Thank You kindly Greg! 👍😀
Great build and awesome weathering. Thanks for the very interesting vid. Happy modeling....
Great work!
Thanks Michael 👍😀
Very nice result. A nice attention to the details makes the difference. Bravo!!!!!!
Thank You kindly! 😀👍
Good morning Wotjek, the ISU 152 is looking absolutely fantastic, the thing about Tzmiya kits is, they just seem to go together without any issues, and your build is no exception, I have rently built their KV I and their much older T-34/85, both kits I absolutely enjoyed building, looking forward to your next update, best regards from Australia, Les
Hi Les! Thank You kindly for a good word! 👍😀 Yes, Tamiya let You just concentrate on most important things not on fitting basic parts together with an use of pliers! 👍 All the Best to Australia 🇦🇺 from Poland 🇵🇱 😀👋🤝
Фототравление безусловно преображает модель. Великолепно!
Thank You kindly! 🙇♂️👍
Да, действительно,есть чему у Вас поучиться... Спасибо. Великолепно!!!
Thank You kindly! 😀👍
インテリア作成は見ていて楽しいけど、自分がやるとなるとゾッとします😂
Thank You kindly! 🙇♂️ Yeah, that is what have thought in the beginning but if You divide the project in smaller sub projects it is rather easy to handle! 💪👍
Great job sir, I’m in.
Thank You kindly! 😀👍
You´ve got a lot of Talent, why you don´t work in the Masterclass of modelling, the Kingsize 1:16.Thats what Modellers wants
Wow! Jerry, Thanks a lot for a believe in me but I am just a simple modeller trying not to mess up my workshop! 🤣 But! I bought to my collection 1:16 Sherman. The only problem is I would be stuck in endless detailing… When I opened this kit and looked briefly through references my mind went crazy with detailing ideas! 😳 Maybe some winter project, who knows… 🤔😉
Very nice modelling. The videos are very well done. Who makes the stand that you have the model attached too.
Thank You kindly! 👍😀 This stand/jig was bought from AK Interactive online shop 👍
Stunning....how long did this kit take you to complete ?, I have one...but time is not on my side, this would take me two years to complete ! 🙄
Hi, Thank You kindly! 👍 I wasn’t really paying attention to this but I would say something about 3-4 months… This is enormous kit and I am now starting to work on another full interior RFM kit 🤦♂️ What can I do? 🤷🏻♂️ I just love those tiny details! 😀
Awesome work! 😃
Thank You kindly! 👍😀
Bravo !👍🏾
Thank You kindly! 👍😀
Great video, and model Thanks for showing us your techniques.

Thank You kindly! 👍😀
Superb
Thank You kindly! 👍😀
Amazing work and outcome..Glad I clicked, liked and now subscribed..I’ve just ordered this kit and though I’ve heard it’s a challenging build,it had to be done.!.All the best🇬🇧👍
Thank You kindly and welcome aboard! 😊👍 feel free to ask in case of problems during the build! 👍
Great piece of work mate! They still rate as one of my favourite Tamiya kits, along with the M20! I think I’ve got about 10 or more of them altogether in various states of build? Really looking forward to seeing your next step ❤😊
Cheers Michael! 👍💪 I can understand Your feelings about M8. I just fell in love with those shapes! 💪👍♥️
Великолепно!!!
Thank You kindly! 😀👍
Nice job!
Thank You kindly! 😀👍
Nicely done... Thanks for showing us our techniques. Working with PE, and CE glue, I always wind up with more glue on my fingers than on the part. Any secret?
Thank You kindly! 😀👍 Well, CA glue also likes my fingers… 🤣 I am thinking about making a video with tutorial about: how to work with PE parts and CA glue 🤔 interested? 😉
Fantastic build! Happy to be a new sub!
Thank You kindly and welcome to the club! 😀👍
Великолепно!!
Thank You kindly! 😀👍
Awesome build my friend keep up the good work 👍👍👍

Uprzejmie dziękuję za miłe słowa! 🙇♂️👍😀
Just noticed the display on your watch! How do you make own displays? Or is it a photo?
Wow, I wondered if someone will notice this! 🤣 I have just uploaded the logo file as photo to my Apple Watch. I've just picked it from Photo Gallery 👍
Awesome job my friend keep up the good work 👍👍👍👍
Thank You @JuanGarcia-up2gz! I will do my best! 👍💪
Fantastic build!
Thank You kindly! 👍😀
Fantastic work, i love interiors 👌
Thank You kindly! Best Regards to fellow Modeller! 👍💪👋😀
Great work! Thank you for this video)
Thank You kindly for Your comment! 👍
Great build. I do have a question. I see you are using both extra thin & model S cement. Is there a particular reason you would use one glue over the other in certain situations?
Thank You kindly! 👍😀 and yes there is reason: Normally I use Mr Cement S (or Tamiya quick setting) because it joins plastic parts 'from the touch' which makes setting parts (esspecialy small ones) easier. You just connect parts, put glue and that's it. Thanks to its effectiveness, for me it is the best glue for a regular use. But... This kind of glue is very aggressive for plastic and melts it instantly. Sometimes to assemble parts together You might need to manipulate to set them properly and here comes a risk that Cement S will not give You enough time to do so. Besides, (last remark 😉) thanks to strong and fast reaction glue vaporizes also very fast. If You put Cement S in a connecting hole it is very possible that there will be no glue left when part will land in the hole...
@@StrictlyFunScaleModelling Thank you for the reply. Great to know. I will have to start utilizing this knowledge. It should definitely make some aspects of assembly much easier. Love your channel by the way. Keep it up!
I really like the way you made this panther look and the video because I have a Panther full interior waiting to be painted and you really gave me some good ideas thankyou 😊. Your work is incredible 😲.
Thank You kindly Mark! 👍😀 If You have some detailed questions on this build do not hesitate to ask. That's why we all are here I suppose! 👍😀
Im glad you made this video with comments. Im taking a Tamiya D model Panther and a G model Tamiya and making an A out of them with some Dragon parts and aftermarket parts including a fully detailed inside turret from CMK and some zimmerit from ATAK and I am not following the directions order of build on anything. I want to put a partial through the hatch driver and radio/hull gunner compartment in order to closely build a big diorama from a photo taken by a German PK photographer that shows a village in Normandy where he managed to get an Ausf D, A and G in one photo where the commanders are yelling at each other and at SS Panzergrenadiers who are looking around several building corners for signs of Canadian or British troops or tanks so the Panthers won't get knocked out coming around the two corners they want to go past. I need to paint parts so I can insert them into a painted hull interior, with driver of one listening intently to the other tank commanders with his head raised above the hull top and the radio operator down in the hull talking on the radio. Of course the turret interior is easy, and I want to put a small nano chip light from Evans Designs into the hull so the action of the radio operator using his equipment can be easily seen. Ive been doing that on several model tanks already and it really adds to the build. On a Sherman I had to put five lights in the places they were put on the actual tank, and the great thing about the Sherman is that there are tons of hydraulic and electrical lines all over the place so that the wires for the electric lights fill a role as well! Great work, I wish I had steady hands like you again!
Thank You kindly for Your comment and sharing Your experiences on modeling struggles! 👍 You have quiet a strategy for a build - congratulations! I just love when a model tells us a small story behind, just like Your does. And You don't have to go for diorama to achieve this effect! Sure, diorama will serve You better but still it is not necessary... You have inspired me with idea of using microLED's. Maybe in some future build with interior... I have a Sturmmorser Tiger with clear hull parts waiting in building queue 😀 Thank You again and please comment on future builds. I am very happy to talk to fellow modeler! 👍
Tamiya model kits fit like Lego.
Indeed, they do! Thanks to this You can focus on what is important - detailing 👍😀
This is so cool, the interior is just perfect
Thank You kindly! 👍😀
Великолепно!!!
Thank You kindly! 👍😀
can you link to the tool you used for rivets and nuts and builts...
Hi! This tool is 'RP TOOLZ RP-HPD Hexagonal Punch and die', just google it 👍 Make sure to check before ordering because there are different models with different sizes and shapes (round/hexagonal).
Wow great job mate. How did you make the straps for the helmets?
Hi! I used cut to size masking tape. I also use pressed solder wire but this is better for weapon straps. If You want I will show it in future video 👍
