This was a great tutorial, i did it right along with you. However, i was disappointed at the end because you didnt show how to end or fasten off when complete. Can you share how to do so? Im lost now. Thx

For people who found the increasing in whichever stitch kind of awkward: What I ended up doing is this (HDC 9, INC) ×2 then, (HDC 5, INC, HDC 10, INC, HDC 5) for the next round for example. I split my "even" rounds up so the increases were kind of offset if that makes sense :)

Watching this in 2024 because I would like to get into crocheting! With that being said, when it comes to doing the slip stitch, how can you tell the chain stitches from the actual first stitch?

I'm working on this right now in a blue ombre yarn and I can't wait to wear it! I am going a few steps further to modify it by lining the inside with fabric possibly, definitely adding a hidden pocket or twi on the inside and a few floral details on the outside. Maybe even a little trim around the edges.
