This is the only way I can share this video with you Tracy - I want to thank you both so very much for saving this little animal who has made us laugh again and seems to live only to chase squirrels and love us!

Remembering a wonderful, sweet lady who was my dad's sister and my beloved aunt with a photo album video. Pictures were old and some she shared with me were copied on an old black and white copier. She loved the sound of Kate Smith's voice and so I used MAY THE GOOD LORD BLESS AND KEEP YOU for the background music.

He is one of my favorite Confederate heroes.. He never did anything every damn Yankee didn't do!
The movie to this songs could be "Ride with the Devil", about those Bushwalkers.... Greatings from Dresden, Germany. We love your songs.
these are not my songs - they were collected and performed by 3 people from their origin of that time period and I just liked making videos from them to share. Thank you for watching and enjoying them. And RIDE WITH THE DEVIL is one of my favorited movies.
Merry Christmas
Beautiful 😢❤
Me kin road 12 years with Quantrel ,Ozark mountains gorilla army . Late at night by the clear light of the moon , from the hollows of Wilson creek to the White River you can hear the rebel cry for justice an Vengeance.
Salute, Sherrie! Is it possible, to buy those CD as Download? Greatings from Dresden, Germany...
Yes, you can buy the CDs from which I made the videos - look up REBEL IN THE WOODS - Cathy Barton, Dave Para and Bob Dyer who found the original songs and recorded them - there are also other CDs and glad to hear from you from Germany
Christians step up and hear the Joy of Lord in its beautiful form!

Missouri is CSA!
RACISM IN THE COMMENTS
What a terrible song, an insult to all Missourians.
this song was original to the times - written during those times.
God bless America and all her fighters with their spirits dwelling in the earth along the Mississippi and through the ozark
Hoy hoy!
why is everything turned into a debate -
What is a fine article about Quantrill? I read only the one in wikipedia. And this one say basically he was a brutal fighter. Not much a about tactics and some neutral informations. Could anyone help please?
I didn't give an opinion on Quantrill - all I did was to make videos to go with the songs that were recorded from the time period. People who have seen my videos gave their opinions - very glad you enjoyed the song and the video.
@@imapatching09 it's a very nice song! It's an heavy Ear catcher for me.
I’m heartbroken I cannot purchase this song from iTunes or even the CD online 🥲
so sorry - I will look on Ebay and see if I can find one on there.
click on here and see if you can still buy a copy. bartonpara.com/bp/index.php/music/rebel-in-the-woods/
Thank you Quantrill for defending Missouri from the yankee scum. ✝️

Am Looking For His Graduation Book
Thanks for all of your stories of William Quantrill (Bloody Bill) and driving me to the places he raided, Grandpa Worthy. RIP
sorry all I have ever done was to share these songs from the time of upheaval between Missouri and Kansas - where I was born, grew up, attended school and worked until marriage - but glad for any who enjoyed them.
@@imapatching09 I was born in Harrisonville, MO. My grandfather’s stomping grounds, as well as the James and Younger brothers.
Is there a reason this doesn't come up on UA-cam music?
it was an original song from the time and recorded on the CD REBEL IN THE WOODS - i used it as background to make this video - only thing I can think of
@@imapatching09 Yeah, I've been trying to find a digital recording of that album but I can't anywhere
Probably the topic.
This was Anderson's favorite song I was told - except he sang something like the Anderson they seek will be far far away - that's what I was told?
It has been said my grandfather fought with Jeff Thompson in Swamp East Missouri.
My favourite song, God bless Dixie Missouri, greetings from Colombia
God bless Missouri! Columbia here too
God bless Missouri, from Missouri!
I live in constant Missouri
¡No la conocía! Muchas gracias

@@imapatching09 they said:I didn't know her!Thank you very much.
Thank you. Sincerely the grandson of confederate and union veterans
Nice song
It originated from that time.
Many kin from north Louisiana that were rebels fought for the 19th and 17th infantry god bless Lousiana and her rebels
Good job Sherrie . I enjoyed that
God Bless Robert E. Lee and Gov. George Wallace! Let's go Brandon!
There were no heroes in the border war. Don’t pine for those days - that was a tragic time
All I did was post original music to the time for those who are interested in history - of course all wars are tragic -
❤️❤️❤️
AWSOME TRIBUTE !!!
I just found out that I’m a very close relative to quintrell although we are now called cantrells
God bless him for defending his state!
I'm sick of romanticizing about the Confederacy and its leaders. Lee and Quantrill and their ilk were all about defending the institution of slavery in the South and attempting to spread it to the new territories. Even the poor Southerners who weren't slaveholders were sucked into defending with their lives this perverse way of life which provided an apparent lower class (Black slaves) that even they could feel superior to. Given the recent rise of racist white nationalism in this country, we need to call out and resist the blurring of the true history of the South and the devastating war it started, all to defend its freedom to own and benefit from the lives and toil of other human beings. We should not forget or ignore the huge amount of suffering (HUNDREDS of years!) that such songs gloss over when written and shared.
This was NOT romanticizing lady. I was making videos from the ORIGINAL songs from that time period which were found and played byt three artists from songs about BOTH sides. I doubt that anyone needs a history lesson from you. So if you don't like it - don't play it again and go get some perspective. I am sick of people like you who are CONSTANTLY OFFENDED ABOUT SOMETHING.
And I’m sick of your singing videos Arne
God save the South and long live Dixieland. The spirit of rebellion will never be defeated. Sic Semper Tyrannis.
Love this...all of it!
Can't find the CD anywhere, pretty disappointed. I wanted to hear more.
I believe I bought mine on line - I'll see if I can find a link and post for you

@@imapatching09 thanks man it might be sold out I'll check
@@imapatching09 Unfortunately it's unavailable now, and has been that way for a while.
This video description is wrong. This video is of the Topeka High School Song (alma mater) and the chant. This is not the fight song.
well I graduated from THS in 1966 and sorry that it has upset you - I made the video and know it is the school song with the fight portion at the end. It is what we sang at every gathering in the auditorium. If I had not made the video and posted it, there would be no recognition of our song, at all. From which class are you? I would not have a problem if you would like to do your video, your way. That would be great - go for it.

@@sammywilliam8156 I graduated in 1966 - I don't know who wrote that sentence - I have used imapatching as a moniker but don't know who originated that - I did make the video and when we sang it right after our school song back then it was a "fight" song
Yes yes it is
