Arrma Kraton EXB... upgraded and bash ready
hey epic video man, hey I'm about to het a felony, and want to upgrade the motor esc, what would the largest motor I can fit in without modification to the stock car? thanks in advance
I like how you painted the body. Very nice looking LMT.
What the hell all talk and no action what are ya doing are you just talk or do you show what your flappin on about... ? Im just sayin. Wtf?... you've burn out time for absolutely nothing that and for all wafflin about thheres nothing to show.. bs man..
Yes
Nice project. I’m working on getting my salvage Kraton 8s going. Just collecting parts right now.
only thing is if you want 4ws you cant just by c hub and steering knuckles you gotta buy whole new axle which is pricey
I have 2 burnt up xL2s and 2 burnt ass 1700kvs
Castle is refurbished bullshit
Traxxas is for boys.....Arrma is for men
where did you get the black body shell?
Too much repeat negativity for the first 5 min and too much metal means more points for breakage. Keep as much plastic as you can. It absorbs soooo much more.
Right dude 👍. Just run them stock . Plastic parts are cheap . I hardly break anything major so far
How is it 3 years later ? Thanks
Guy complains about the truck being $550. Buy $700 worth of parts.😅😅😅
Well that's one thing I don't have to ever worrie about I never run mine in or around water hell no I can't stand rusty looking things and bearings making that horrable sounds when there all rusty lol
Men I would love to see a part list of the upgrades🙏
I am going to put the XLX2 ESC in my V2 for racing . I see you have a climbed my Washington sticker. Are you from Baltimore?
Is there a video of you running it?
Hows the arms , pushrods and links holding up?
Thank you for your attention to detail. I just got my SCX-10 III yesterday and want to make sure we start out right. 🤙🏽
This is the nicest LMT I’ve seen. Awesome!
Awesome build! I just subscribed to your channel. 👍👍👍👍👍👍
gotta make it rear steer then itll be fully upgraded
looks amazing tho
What are the tires ?
I have the same truck. I have factory tires or trenchers. You won’t have a rod end problem if you put the blue rubber bump stops in the shocks. I did it and it makes it that the rod ends ware out. I’m a year in now and none have broke and I am a skate park brasher. Before that mod I broke one every weekend. I also don’t have the limiting straps.
I love this truck ! 3 years and still going strong with minimal repairs or upgrades ! And very easy to work on . Unlike the Big Rock 6s which is an outstanding Truck but quite expensive and IMO not as user friendly as the Big Rock 4x4 BLX 3s . Over all Arrma makes a great truck and it just boils down to having fun with whatever you choose . P.S. I will give you one piece of solid advice with this truck and that is to put a better steering servo on it because these are not crafted well at all . Enjoy !
Which servo would you recommend to put in?
I know people find it useless to upgrade the braces where body latches on to but if u happen to crash it under a vehicle it will save you😂🙏🏽
Get motor heatsink and fans. Use one servo, get rpm bumpers, ditch those fancy rods, bc the will break on you, the 2nd version gray rods are GOOD Aluminum shock mounts will break not bend like plastic! At least you have the best tires.
4274 Truggy motor in the buggy? How has that been for bashing? Overpowered or feel right compared to a 4268 setup if you’ve compared.
I like it
My take is that if the truck can take a beating within reason and holds up well with minimal cost to maintain resulting in more time having fun than working on it then I'm all in !! After all , things are going to break on any basher but if you can live without a better looking part that costs less and lasts , it 's the smart thing to do . IMO
The criminal thing is a slipper clutch. First mod to do with these is the 6780
whats the difference/manners with the center diff vs slipper?
@ a CD allows the front and rear diffs to move at different speeds, this is how AWD cars work as no two wheels will travel the exact same distance in a turn. On the other hand, sliders keep the front and rear diffs in lock step with each other. It’s also more crude. With a slipper you either have power or you don’t. Feels like easily 90% of the power is lost. With a center diff, only the amount of power you tuned it to bleed out will escape though the front axle
@ I know exactly how it works I’m just wondering why you say it’s so essential on a basher.
The new BL 2s rustler is basically the best version. Comes with the maxx style driveshafts. Can’t break em
Sweet Truck !!! 👌
Gonna need metal diffs with 4s
Nice video, so how those axle hold up? I’m seeing this 3 years later. Lol
Mines almost 4 years old lol
I twisted one and put HD ones on and haven't had a issue at all running 3s with redcat 3300kv and 120a esc
I just got a big rock and those tires and wheels look awesome!
I'm sitting here with mine in my lap I need help
Needs some Blue Flames or lightning ⚡️
What front end undercarriage is that?
2 small of a tire on that rc..it dosent even look right😅
My motor mount cracked after 5 minutes and only a couple of curb hops. The motor also shifted. My first impression isn't so good. Was expecting it to handle a bit more than a curb jump. Ordered replacement parts, but, not sure I'll be keeping it..
Oh dang. I've had mine for about 8 months and I've launched it like crazy, crashed into a tree, rolled it, lawn darted it, and only thing I've had to replace is the spur gear and the rear outer differential gear
I really like your build you did a great job! What kind of body is that?
Thank you... its a clear body that i painted
Can you let me know what all your electronics are. I just got a rolling chassis delivered and I'm not confident on selecting them myself.
come back dude these vids are great~!
For the shocks use the Axial Silicon shock Bushings AXA1356
Thanks for the video Fox, really useful as a new Typhon owner (who has already bent the chassis and shock towers!). Was interested in the plastic "bumpers" you have on the front shock tower which stops the M2C metal from getting wrecked. Guessing they're something you made, rather than bought?
Thank you... they are something i made out of a broken t-bone racing wing mount
@@fxrc3086 Super, thanks. Will see what I can come up with, amazed no-one has produced anything.
Belted tires are hard on axles because they are so heavy are those belted?
They are not belted but u are definitely right
Wish you were going a bit faster into the jumps, kinda thought not holding back its power and capabilities was gonna be more exciting tbh, still very much enjoyed the build info/why you like and use what you like style of filming . New to higher end basher builds this level of premium detail & lovin' everything ive seen so far that youve posted sir. 🤙🤟👌👏
