Thanks for the video, I bought both and returned the bernzomatic ts8000, couldn't see a different other than price.
Thanks for the comment mine is still going strong 💪 👍
Brilliant mate thanks so much , had odd size windows so this worked a treat and saved loads of money on buying bespoke ones. One thing I found is that I cut the blind with a a large pair of good scissors and it worked much easier than knife
Thanks for the great tutorial! Do you know where to find spare fixing for these? I have cut mine into two to have on two windows and can no where find spare fixings. Thanks!
Thanks for the lovely reply you can search amazon .... roller blind brackets side fitting 😊
Ho lo stesso display ma non va via neanche se stacco completamente l'accelleratore

Great video, like other people have commented B&Q said they couldn't be done.
I have same problem with my scooter lexgo but still trying to sort it is difficult the scooter just shaking can't accelerate
Thanks for the video, I was curious as to why the Rothenberger is so expensive, from places like Toolstation & Screwfix, they can be as much as £100 ! I bought a cheap one from an eBay seller that came with three different nozzle types & I can fault it thus far. I also found I can buy the mapp gas much cheaper from eBay as well.
I've just got some from dunelm. It says it doesn't recommend cutting but thought surely you can and you've proved it thanks 👍🏻 😁
Yes they cut leaving a perfect edge as long as you use a new sharp stanley blade your good
I just cut down a dunelm blind yesterday, pretty straight forward but you need to take your time with the Stanley knife and a straight edge if you want a good finish(having better eyesight than me would probably help as well)
You’ve just created me more work now😂😂 thanks for that😂
Haha brilliant comment 👏 👌 🤣 👍 sorry mate good luck
@@BREN2009 well I have one happy wife now, all sorted 😂😂 thanks for the video mucker 👍
@@dashooting6595 cheers
Thank you! I really wanted these but have odd shaped windows but not up for paying for made to measure. This has helped so much!
i put a new throttle and still no work help
In the UK there is a connector behind the passanger kick panel the blue and white signal wire runs throught that they are usually rotten inside water damaged
That's great information 👍 wish I had known that when I had it cheers sure that will help someone out
@BREN2009 I did change all hall sensors on the motor. Are 41F the correct part number? No more E7 error. But no movement when I press the accelerator. With the voltmeter I did check the accelerator - it's OK. Also checked with the voltmeter all 3 sensors - all works ( output pin change from 0V to 3.3V when rotating the wheel. Does the motor has to rotate as soon as I push only the accelerator? Or there is any safety features on this model? LIKE HOLDING BOTH HANDS ON THE HANDLE BAR OR STANDING WITH ONE FOOT ON THE PLATFORM? Thanks for your help.
Hello as a safety feature the motor has to spin at a decent speed before you hit the throttle
@sashakupetsky ok you do know it has a fail safe. You have to first spin the wheel before it will power up
I get E7 on my Lexgo. Anyone knows what is the problem? Thank you very much.
Sorry for the late reply maybe look inside your wheel motor a hall sensor wire may have broken off the board just re solder it

Yes you have to spin the wheel then press the throttle other than that I can't advise anymore mate
@@BREN2009 Thanks Pal! Do you know if SS41F is a correct P/N for the hall sensors?

It’s helped me this morning. Thanks. Have some good karma points :)
Thanks for that, very helpful
after much panic, i drove out of work with the intention of picking up a cheap OBD scanner for my own future use/diagnostics. Within 2km's, the speedo bounced around and wanted to get started, and then just worked. The engine light remained on, so i went into IT support mode, when in doubt reboot it! Went passed my house, disconnected the battery for ten minutes, and warning light went off! Problem solved...it's been pouring with rain here for the last few days, so my guess is the sender/sensor on the gearbox got water ingress, and with the dry and hot conditions today, all evaporated, and solved itself effectively. I will check the sensor mounting, and check for obvious wire breaks, and perhaps spray some contact cleaner to ensure this does not happen again soon. But the OBD scanner i will get anyway, to save costs of diagnostics at the shops. Cheers mate, thanks for you advice :)
the next day problem is back after a nights rest...disconnected the battery again last night, all good, this morning same fault 🤣 Going to have a closer look this afternoon, or this weekend. Rain has stopped for a few days
I got this same issue, was working last night, this am, not working... Drove to work, not working, went out again, now engine warning light is on, speedo still not working
Yes that's exactly what mine did too I bought a new gearbox speed sensor as a mechanic friend said it needed a new sensor but it made no difference so then i worked out what wire did what and found the break in the wire so try what I have shown you I run my new wire from the gearbox sensor and tie wrapped along the original wiring and brought it through a rubber grommet under passenger seat carpet I then fished it up through the dashboard and to the back of the speedo I put money on it it is a break in the loom I think this is a common failure on them along with the trigger wire to the starter motor when you find one day your starter motor suddenly dies it just needs a terminal cleaning up I have put another video on here of that but on my other channel good luck with fixing your speedo i bet it will be that wire
@@BREN2009 thank you for your assistance. So you also had an engine warning light, at the same time? My onboard distance/ range meter, still deducts kilometers... I'll check this out. It's been pouring with rain for the last few days, thought maybe some water ingress.
@@34clint1 yes exactly the same symptoms as you engine management light on etc
It was for sure the sensor sender wire that was broken...speedo/odo all working, but now i have the fuel gauge moving up and down slightly, and no reading on the onboard computer remaining km range 😅
@@34clint1 glad you got the speedo working this sounds like you have more breaks in other wires with them symptoms 😳 😢
That's great, I will try it. Thanks.
It's either that sensor that needs replacing or a broke wire but before you buy a new sensor test to see if you have a circuit from the sensor wire to the wire behind the clock to prove the wire hasn't got a brake in it mine twitched a few times before finally stopping altogether
Thank you, does that cheaper torch heat up larger pipes as well as the Rothenberger? And is it still working well?
Hi yes it's still working perfect and iv used it loads to be honest i think it has always worked better than the more expensive rothenburger 100% get the cheaper copy and will easily heat big pipes thanks
