We make potato leek soup every Christmas Eve. We serve it with French Canadian tourtiere, which I'm sure you already know is a very savory pork pie. Its traditionally served with champagne or a very nice Viognier. I like your addition of paprika. I'm going to try that this year. Our immersion blender is a "BAMix" from Switzerland. We purchased it at the L.A. County Fair years ago for what we thought at the time was a ridiculously expensive price ($175 but I think we paid a little over $300 because we purchased the "Super Box") but the man said it was high quality and was meant to last a lifetime, and it has! I'm now going to try the nutmeg as well. That sounds AMAZING.

I came for your recipe and am rewarded with a mouthwatering dish AND surprise...it looks like Alex is shooting up and will soon overtake you 😱💪 AND I agree with his assessment 😋😋😋😋

Why do we not have a Ripley's Fun Zone here in L.A. I'd be there every weekend!!! It doesn't sound great, but I'd give the Mac & Cheese gummies a try. No Jose's Cantina? OMG, even with a rope attachment, my vertigo wouldn't let me do the rope course. How was the hard cider? Tell Alex it's a very good sign if it rains on your birthday. It's cleansing out all the negativity for the coming year. I love dinner and a show. AND, I love Bush's Beans. I had no idea they had a museum I love the commercials with the talking dog. And of course I want to see more videos like this!!! AND more recipes.

We did a prime rib as well!!! We also always have the bone removed and tied back on. We put lots of pepper on ours. Jim takes the bones off, seasons between, then ties them back on. Yours looks so good!!! We keep the bones and gnaw on them the next day. I really need to get an electric knife!!! Beautifully pink! Perfection. Oh, that Billy!!!

I'm now looking for those sour egg bites. I also like the ginger bread t-shirt. I'm really enjoying that cheese advent calendar. Just imagine when Alex is old enough to pair those with some fine wine. But lets not rush things. Lets get him through high school first. I actually got startled when that little elf moved his arms. I immediately flashed back to Karen Black in Trilogy of Terror. I actually made waffles this morning so I got excited for the waffle maker. I'm with Alex. I don't really like goat cheese, but I don't hate it. I like it on Greek food. And WHERE did you find a leg cast for Handy????? What is Zebra Cake? That was a fun Christmas!!!

Are those Pokemon Legos? I've been a Lego fan since I was a kid. Somewhere in storage I have the Lego space station monorail set. And even as an adult, when I go to Dia de Los Muertos in San Diego, I get the room with the huge copper tub and always take my Mr. Bubble. AND, I actually got myself an Advent Calendar this year and every night I'm enjoying a different chocolate. I couldn't locate a wine of the day advent. I really need to get myself a Lego advent for next year AND a cheese one. Of course, with the cheese advent, I would skip a week just to enjoy several at once. This was fun!!!
