Does the autoleveling on/off box in the printer leveling menu need to be checked for any of the meshes to be applied? I have a g29 in start code and printer probes the bed, but unsure of effect of the on /off function in leveling menu. Thanks

Running latest firmware on ender 5 plus with silent board and dual Z... tried to change x and y offset for nozzle, now G34 fails and all zero's during bed mesh until it completes...

0:30 You have nothing plugged on the add fan plug! This is the same as me. I had my extruder fan not moving, and thought it was because i had nothing plugged there... does your extruder fan (front fan) work?

If your left and right Z rods can turn so much that the X axis gantry is so non-level (as you show in your video), it means you have some bolts loose. Check the eccentric nuts on the roller wheel assemblies (both sides) and check to make sure that the metal plates of those assemblies are firmly tightened into the aluminum extrusion of the gantry. When you turn only one side it should be stiff and make the other side want to turn almost immediately.

I used the Creality branded CR-10 dual Z upgrade kit on my Ender 3, and the procedure is almost identical as for the CR-10 except for the orientation of a couple of bolts. I had to increase the Z stepper Vref. The two stepper motors were too weak at first and would skip. The original Z Vref was 0.55 volts and I doubled this to a bit over 1 volt on my v4.2.x driver board. The new stepper motor and wiring also caused the LCD display to get scrambled and messed up due to electrical interference, including random button presses. I fixed this by isolating the display from the metal frame where it is screwed on, using the plastic spacer found here: www.thingiverse.com/thing:3077155 I also replaced the two M5x8 bolts with smaller self tapping screws and plastic drywall anchors for electrical isolation. This totally fixed the scrambled LCD display. You could also use M5x8 nylon bolts. Update: I realized that part or all of the electrical interference problem may be due to the grounded metal case of the power supply having to be removed from the frame in order to position the second stepper motor and lead screw. So another possible solution is to ground your frame to the power supply using an extra wire but I have not personally tested this to be sure it fixes the scrambled LCD display.
