Honda pilot rear AC vent slider fix
Replacing the slider knob on the rear AC vents of a Honda Pilot. Side note, if the pieces fell down in the vent you can take several tabs loose and two screws out of the black plastic behind the panel and access the inside of the vent duct.

No idea what’s wrong with mine but it’s similar to this. I’ve taken it all apart and can’t figure it out. The bar works when I push it by hand, but once I put the trash can down and try the foot pedal… nothing. It doesn’t budge. But if I lift the lid and then push the pedal, it stops the lid from going down. It just won’t push it up at all. 🤷🏻‍♀️ I’m about to take it apart again and double-check for cracks. It’s all I can think of! Thank you for this! Especially for the soldering part - I never would’ve thought of that and I have one in my closet!
