So sorry you had this experience. I hope the character part of it was just an off day. I was there around closing time in mid-June, and when breakfast was winding down, a cast member went up to each table to ask which character you didn't get to meet yet, then escorted them over accordingly. Hopefully it's better next time!

Good afternoon to You, & Mike. Happy to see another character dining vlog from the channel. My experience last 3 or 4 times (in 3 yrs) at Minnie's Breakfast & Friends, was good. 1st time went there the silverware was on the table, then other times was grab yourself. I dont remember if there ever was a cast member coming by to fill coffee cups. As for charcters its varies sometimes a rare or 2 would make an appearance, & sometimes not. Last time i was there was beginning of the yr, there was 2 mouses from Cinderella, but got to meet only 1 cause they rotated mouses out. Rest of the characters all came by atleast once to the table. Will you & Mike be doing Storytellers Cafe Autumm Brunch? & Goofy's Kitchen Halloween? Im personally personally excited for autumm brunch, cause the promo pic of their outfits is so adorable. & hoping Goofy's Kitchen brings back Easter breakfast/brunch next yr, cause me & my hubby missed it this yr.

Plaza INN has been a favorite over the years. All three kids have grown up going to Disneyland. We have gone to Plaza Inn soo many times over the years. I do remember always having to get silverware and drinks. Our visit to Plaza INN breakfast was Jan 2024 and it was great! The food , characters and atmosphere, However, I felt bad, there was only one waiter, to take plates after we were done eating. So service was so so, I am glad to find your channel, I have been a Disney fanatic since 1992, visit DL and WDW

Our family just got back from two weeks in Disneyland and we also stayed at this motel. First, let me start by saying that the staff could not have been more wonderful. The front desk was kind, helpful, and went out of their way in every possible manner to help make things positive for us. That being said, unless all you want to do is sleep and have a sort-of shower, I don't know how much you would want to be at this hotel. The good: The staff and security. The staff did all kinds of things to be kind and helpful, from leaving us lots of extra towels, to comping our parking, to arranging to early check-in, to putting our family and our friends in adjoining rooms, even though we didn't ask (I suppose they could tell from our check-in and out dates that we were travelling together!). The security is actual security and looked very physically capable of handling any situation that might arise. There was no visible mould in the shower, and the mattresses looked brand-new (at least in our room). The management allows kids to bring floaties and toys into the pool, which was very fun for the kids and helped them make friends with the others staying at the motel. The little shop in the lobby was great for basics. Although there were no lids for the in-room coffee in the room, you can grab some at the lobby coffee bar. The fridge was a good size and clean. Housekeeping was daily and was great (given what they have to work with; I did get my own broom and mop to keep the floors clean because my kids are messy and we did other things like go to the beach). The challenges: Perhaps if you were there in the afternoon, many people were at the park, and the wifi was ok. During our trip, it was abysmal. Fortunately, I have an unlimited 5G data package, and our party tied into my hotspot. The water pressure in the shower was terrible. If you have long hair, good luck getting the shampoo out of your hair. It was also barely warm at any time of the day. The smells around the property are plentiful and terrible. The smell in the elevator is beyond words. The bathroom for the pool area constantly smelled like pot. There was a corner of a landing on an exterior stairwell where someone had clearly peed (again, the awful smells) and it wasn't cleaned the entire time we were there. The room smelled like gross cleaning products and mildewy air conditioning. The sink drain overflow clearly hadn't been cleaned out in a very long time and I could smell it every time I washed my hands, let alone tried to wash my face. The bath fan was so clogged with dust that nothing was being suctioned out (not a huge problem since we couldn't get hot water in the shower). Our friends' room drain was clogged; someone came to "fix" it, but we ended up buying Draino and snaking it ourselves. Our room door did not close properly; even when "locked", you could clearly see daylight through the crack. I brought my own pillowcase and sheets so that I could be comfortable. When we arrived, the pool light was disconnected from its outlet and floating in the pool. After the first day or two, the pool water looked very cloudy. By day three, someone came to repair the light (I didn't let the kids in; I was scared of electrocution) and treat the pool. The water stayed clear after that. The chairs at the poolside are kind of clean (I covered them in pool towels), and the tables have umbrellas, but there are no umbrellas for the loungers. It gets very hot on the concrete pool deck in the summer. The washer and dryers made our clothes dirtier than when they went in and it cost more than doing laundry at the Disneyland Hotel! It's close-ish to Anaheim Garden Walk, but honestly, the Garden Walk is looking so run down and sketchy; it was so much nicer ten years ago. Of our two weeks in Anaheim, we managed to do four nights at the Motel 6. We kept our room because our friends were there, but we lucked out on a DVC reservation cancellation, and I was able to scoop it up for a *relative* steal. I have a host of allergies and sinus issues, and the smells (and likely mildew in the ac) at the Motel 6 were preventing me from breathing through my nose at all, so I needed to go somewhere that I could breathe. That being said, these rooms were not any worse (and are maybe even better) than the rooms in the old section of the Grand Legacy, which is way more expensive. So my advice is to temper your expectations and remember that this review does not allow you to smell the room. If you are ok with a few funky smells (ironically, the friend who we were travelling with has no sense of smell, and she was far more comfortable than I) and you need a budget place that's not a far walk, this could be the place for you! The teens (all boys; no long hair to wash) in our party had no complaints either. We booked super early and were able to get the rooms for under $100 a night, all in, so there isn't too much to complain about if it's a short stay and you just need a bed.

Everyone gets lured in by the Fancy Prime Rib, but you guys got hands down the best Entrees, the Pork shank is sooo amazing, and i want to learn to make Polenta now that i have ate it

Honestly, I had a great time staying at the Motel 6 Anaheim CA - Maingate... It's definitely budget friendly, comfortable, clean, and safe, which for a solo female traveler, it was what I needed. Have you stayed there? If so, what's been your experience?

On our second trip to Disneyland in 2008, the conductor of the train invited our family to ride inside the Lily Belle . It was an honor to be there. Definitely a special moment we will never forget!

I was really worried that they were going to ruin Country Bears like they ruined Splash Mountain (Sorry, but they did) but this actually looks cute! Plus all the bears received a little TLC which is always a good thing.
