NBC "LIVE & In Person" 1983-Neil Diamond
I don't own any part of this recording.
More of my mom's digitized VHS tapes. I found this rare gem from a short lived NBC series of weekly LIVE performances from superstars of the day! I apologize for the premature ending of the segment. It looks like our recorder may have malfunctioned. Best intro ever!!

I used to be in a Worship/classic rock cover band called StillRock from 2001 to 2004! This is a very basic basement demo we made on multi-track pro tools software back in 2001! The basic track was recorded in the sanctuary of our Church with vocals and additional guitars recorded later in a basement! There's 2 guitar solo's. I play the second and also supply back up vocals! Back in those days i...

I think this is one of Neil's best compositions and what I call "sacred"! Only he can do it! I just broke my own rule and tried it! LOL
The Jazz Singer: A behind the scene's feature

I don't own this! I actually saw this on another You Tube channel as 4 separate parts! It looks like their might be one part missing and the part's were in wrong numeric order! I attempted to put them together in what I believe would be the correct sequence! None the less a rare behind the scenes feature about the only movie Neil Diamond ever starred in!! The best part is watching the director ...
Neil Diamond: "A Current Affair" Australia 1976

Probably the most in depth conversation with Neil Diamond, who rarely did these types of interviews in the '70's! I don't own this. This is from the "Thank You Australia Concert" DVD!

My mom Elaine Lydia Grunwald passed away from kidney failure at 69 on 5/13/13 the day after Mother's Day that year! This is the Memorial Video that was given to me after the service! It originally included many songs that she loved from The Beatles..Neil Diamond..Queen..The Everly Brothers and many more and the pictures were just looped around! They were only able to give me 1 full song with mo...

I'm a Neil Diamond freak! I was challenged to do some videos! One of my favorite Neil tunes from his "Velvet Gloves And Spit" album 1968!
When he sings Hello Again and returns to Molly and his new baby I just cry my eyes out. His music brings out so much emotion.
Hi Todd: as mentioned below: I am ... waiting for 'Walk on water', Sincerely Johan
From the view of this conservative Jew, this was the best movie that year.
It’s a wonderful movie, I recommend it. It’s still very relevant today.
Love this movie. Music and story are timeless.
Great Performance By Neil Diamond,The Best 💯
My favourite scene was the two women eyeing each other up. Well directed and played.
I think Neil Diamond did an incredible job! It was my favorite movie by him, and my parents also loved it too! He has a lot of wonderful songs in this movie. I didn't see the original movie, but this movie is awesome! The critics can say what they think. But I love Neil Diamond and he's incredible
The guitar isn't great - the voice is... Nice one x
Loved " The Jazz Singer" . Neil was awesome in this movie!!!❤❤❤. Rest of cast was great too.
I hardly listen to the critics. Alot of the time they r very wrong. I usually like what they don't like. Sometimes i agree, but very seldom.
The critics don't know squat! Neil did a great job acting here! Well done Neil!
I heard "Hello Again" at the grocery a few days ago and immediately remembered "The Jazz Singer". Had to find the movie to watch again. I hadn't seen it since 1980!!! It holds up!!!
One of my favourite movies which I have watched countless times. Neil Diamond was excellent as were the other cast members. I only wish Neil had acted in more movies as he has such talent and a pleasure to listen to and watch.
My mother and I were impressed by the film Jazz singer 1980. Really enjoyed the film and song Love on the rocks by Neil Diamond. 👏🌹🙂 Larry even being seriously ill, he continued to act in films, it really deserves praise. Thanks for sharing 🙏😊
Some people are just good at almost everything they really try at. So goodso good so good
I was 12 years old in 1980. I had heard of this movie, but I hadn't seen it. I always liked Neil Diamond and I can remember as a kid, closing my eyes and imagining myself singing these songs to a pretty girl. I'm 56 now and I still close my eyes and imagine myself being so dynamic and charismatic that I wish I could do what he does. I heard the soundtrack to this movie for the first time in 1984. Immediately, I wanted to see the movie but it wasn't until years later, on VHS that I was able to see it. The movie blew me away. The music still moves me to this day. The world is a better place because of Neil Diamond and because of this movie. My two favorite song writers of this era is Dan Fogleberg, (God Rest Him) and Neil Diamond.
Interesting piece
Great job
loved this movie
Thank you so much for posting! Wonderful show! Fabulous songwriter/singer/performer and one of the best ever!
Excellent excellent
To hear and see what I am enjoying his viability. And today with all his progress giving the audiences what they need. Yet today I have been told he can't help himself. What a let down

There's an interview on UA-cam with Lucie Arnez that gives a little insight. Audience loved it, critics hated it

Neil Diamond has the most amazing eyes I have ever seen, when he talks it’s his eyes that do the talking
Well done, Todd!!
We really enjoyed Neil in the Jazz Singer! Good movie!
Great movie!
Neil Diamond was in 1977, four days on Tour in Netherland.there were problems with the Hammond organ (110 Volt America-Europe 220 Volt) I'm approached by Lou van Rees Management for a solution to my Hammond Rent. After four days I got my B3 Hammond returned with Fire spots of Cigarettes, it frustrated me.They have me removed me from the Neil Diamond Fan Club because I had this listed on their site.Never Apology of Neil Diamond ☹🎹'
I wish Neil would have done more movies; he was a blossoming talent!
Good movie, but phenomenal soundtrack...
5:02 In my opinion, the deepest song that Neil Diamond has ever performed.
100 percent.
I agreed
Just the best of the best!!! Thank you!
3:37 Neil Diamond was set to play Jim Jones in a musical biopic, "The People's Temple". 5:23 Neil's wearing a cowboy hat, playing an acoustic guitar in the cab of an 18-wheeler. Hundred miles down the road, the trucker says, "Tell ya hwut the problem in Amurica is...the Jews run the banks..." Oops.
Sadly I haven’t been able to buy this film with good quality 😢 if only they would release a dvd of this fantastic film
Great rendition of this Monkees classic! Hope more people find their way to this video.
Neil your only problem is your too good looking..and sexy
My favorite song Hello Again! Neil Diamond could sing that song to me all night long! Just love Neil Diamond and "The Jazz Singer!"

I loved that Neil was part of the movie... I still get goosebumps when he goes to sing for his dad at the cathedral..love you beyond Neil Diamond
It was a synagogue....he portrayed a cantor, which is one half, the singing and musical half, of a rabbi/cantor religious leadership duo in any Jewish congregation. The one portrayed happened to be a very conservative, almost Orthodox old school congregation, probably made up of a bunch of Eastern European Holocaust survivor immigrants and their first generation American born baby boomer children. It was about tradition meeting modern American life and the strains it placed on the relationships between old school deeply religious traditionalist parents and their more Americanized children, as much as it was about the father/son relationship, the father wanting certain things for and of the son and the son wanting something different for himself. Its actually Avery deep and nuanced film that tackles a bunch of issues all rolled into one. It's a classic that I believe has stood the test of time.
