In this video I try to see how many complete circles I can complete doing an old school BMX Infinity Roll. The Infinity Roll was one of the first tricks I learned back in 1986 on my orange Predator Free Form Z. Shortly thereafter I got my 1987 Redline RL20ii bike which is the bike I still have and ride today as seen in this video. Doing BMX freestyle tricks is not only fun but also good for you...

Getting into summer old school BMX freestyle shape, breaking a little skin, and pulling some Cherrypickers!! So great to get out in 2021 to start riding again. At first I felt super achy and sore. But, once I continued to ride around and increase my body temperature, my joints felt better and I was able to have fun. I feel just as good if not better after a freestyling session than I do after a...

I ordered some MA|CH element stickers from Martin and decided to make this video after I noticed increased super powers from the stickers. Amazing 💯 where is that building from the Jump??
@@fmminformation thank you for your comment! The location is 3162 Kashiwa St. Torrance, CA. It’s the location of the old “Wizard Publications” which published both BMX Action and FREESTYLIN’ magazines. The ramp was between the buildings there in the parking lot. And the opening credit flatland scenes were filmed on the street in front of the building on a foggy morning. I heard that the riders just started doing tricks while waiting around and the film crew started rolling to capture footage. It was a foggy morning, and they used a zoom lens from a distance back. That’s how the fog looks so dense (and cool!)
@@trainertroysmith that’s amazing!! Thanks for the information!
@@fmminformation you bet!!
Bad ass!
You sent her an Angel!😝🤘
I'm studying this video very intensely right now. 💯🤟🏾💯
@@l.a.maclin6591 two brakes four pegs that’s a rap let’s go!! 💯
What type of bike? I like it.
@@wayne971 it’s a 1987 Redline RL20II 🤙🏼
Suddenly my High Tech stopped working. Just now I am changing the filters but the filter that came with the machine are a lot thinner (also weirdly sticky) than the reactor pads or the filter in the video. Don't know what to do!!!!
Miami Hopper
Thanks. Very helpful. The instructions on the thing scared me. Light wear protective eyes gear, wash your hands and arms. Wear gloves. This is easy. Very good video. Thank you.
Who's here because of Scotty Cranmer and staying because of Troy Smith?
the infinty roll ! nice !
Oh HELL yes! I'm 52 and you guys make me want to resurrect my 1986 Haro freestyler Master. Totally Rad!
@@captainphasma598 do it!! 🤙🏼👊🏼😃
I live in the area with low humidity ( average39%). If I just put humidifier close to the machine will be it enough? Or I should put humidifiers in every room of the house?
I think just close to the machine. If the humidity is higher in the room that the reactor is, then hydroxyls will be made there. Hydroxyls don't need humidity to sustain themselves. But there needs to be sufficient moisture in the air at the location of the machine(s) in order for them to be generated.
As a younger guy trying to get into the old school tricks this is amazing to watch! I’d love for some tutorial videos from you!
That’s great you’re getting into old school! Keep at it and have fun… I plan to do tutorials eventually!
I wish there were more reviews of this out there. Can’t seem to find any third party information
Yesssss u did it and I need this in my life Thank u for This Rad video ❤🙏🏿💵
This is so helpful and thorough!!
Cool tricks i am 57 i make all tricks with no frontbreak and no frontpegs.....big hand from germany 😊❤😊❤
This is a bad design. We struggle with this every time. It takes us about an hour to change two bulbs and we just purchased another one so not looking forward to doing this again. I wish you used an easier bulb. My hands are weak and my wife isn't patient.
I agree… the bulbs can be a a challenge to change. I wish it was designed differently as well… more space to get leverage… some sort of different interface between the bulb end and the connector piece. I’ve gotten it down to where I can usually do it right away now, but I’ve had some choice words in the past trying to do it. I’ve found that it helps to first ensure the prongs are lined up with the holes… and then to first angle the bulb end so that one side is angled in… and then while keeping pressure against it to move into into place. I’ve been told that it’s okay to actually hold the bulb as well as the plastic end too. That may help. If you do do that, consider wiping the bulb with rubbing alcohol afterward to remove any oil from your hands. I hope that your next go around works a bit better for you guys. 🙏🏼
My filters all look and smell the same so I don’t know which one would be the prefilter
Unfortunately they all do look and smell the same. You have to make sure you put the pre filter in the pre filter slot. Sometimes I’ll take a black marker and make a small mark on that one just so I never mix them up. I feel that they should make the pre filter a different color or design or something just for this very reason.
I can’t smell or feel any difference either
I have had remediation done on our home and I have learned a lot about mycotoxins/mold. My understanding is that humidity should be between 35-50 to prevent mold growth. We keep out home between 40-45 using a dehumidifier when needed. For this unit to work humidity needs to be 50 or above, correct?
That’s good that you keep your humidity levels in check like that. Regarding the air reactors, from what I understand the air reactors make a higher amount of hydroxyls with higher levels of humidity. They still make hydroxyls below 50, but the levels decrease the lower the humidity level. They still work within the 35-50 range… I would attempt to keep it up towards 50 if possible. And if you’re sized properly… mold won’t grow irrespective of the humidity level since there will be sufficient hydroxyls circulating the building envelope.
Does this unit emit ozone into a living space?
No. The machine doesn’t emit any ozone whatsoever.
Very Nice!! All the great tricks from back in the day. You got mad skillz!!
Awesome! Are you still riding?
Thank you man and no I’m not riding as of now… I need a hip surgery. I will get back into riding again though!
@@trainertroysmith wish you good luck for the surgery! Would like to see more material, the Cherrypicker was awesome as well🤘🏽

thank you!
Even the cherrypicker, never mastered that one in the 80's, great riding.
I need a BMX bike.
What’s the address in Torrance where the pipe was and BMX magazine? I live in RB and was a huge fan of this flick! Great job lining up the shots of the ending credits.
Hey sorry for my delayed response! The address where the quarter pipe was for the opening credits is 3162 Kashiwa St, Torrance, CA. That's the building where Wizard Publications who made BMX Action and FREESTYLIN was. The street right there is where they did the flatland tricks (Martin, Eddie, Ron, and RL). I believe they shot from down the street a bit away while zooming in a bunch. That's how the fog looked so dense. Same thing with the closing credits at Torrance Beach.... they filmed from the South looking North zooming in a bunch. I think the lifeguard house may have been moved away from the path towards the water a bit since the time of filming. The approximate coordinates for this scene with Martin and RL are: 33.81629 deg N, 118.39083 deg W.
@@trainertroysmithThank you so much Troy. I live in the area, but I’m originally from NYC, so it trips me out how an inspirational movie from my youth was filmed practically in my back yard. Cheers.
@@knockonolan you bet and that’s awesome! Go check it out!!

Dude your so awesome!! I missed you at Crown Point!! I’ll be ridin my riding to next year! Can’t wait
Thanks man and hope to see you and ride with you next year at Crown Point!
Sooo fun!
🔥🔥🤘🏽
Do you need the rear brake on for this?
I suppose it’s possible to do without a rear brake, but it’d be a lot easier with one. Without one the back wheel will roll forward or backward unless you’re perfectly centered. I think with a back you can spin a lot more and more tightly and slowly since having the back wheel locked up would allow that. 🤔
@@trainertroysmith Thanks Troy. My brakes are goofy (rear is on the left) so I think I'll have to switch them round.
@@markbrewer9130 you bet. Yeah you can switch your brakes around or I guess you could just do the trick the same way on the other side.. stand on the left side of bike versus right side… weight will be on your left leg on back left leg and you’ll swing your right leg around (just all oppo)
man even has the trans am in the background
Nice riding man!!!
Dude this is as awesome. I’m 34 and just started riding again. I could never do the flatland stuff though. I’m back in the skateparks.
Rocked a 86 Haro master !! Could do most of these except the cherry picker ! Amazing
That’s awesome! I loved the ‘86 Haro Master. My friend Justin Carter got a chrome one after I had my Redline for a while. Sometimes we’d switch bikes during riding sessions. I pulled my first double tailwhip on his Master before I ever did on my Redline. Ride on Chris! 🤙🏽
Cherry picker !!!!!!!
Awesome…..im setting out to learn them this month?….possibly 😂😫
Yeah Brad you can do it! Can’t wait to see you pull em! 👊🏽
