Very well done. Thank you so much!
smelling of lavender , deters mites from hitchhiking while bees are out foraging
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
They are so cute.
好可愛呀!
Whew… too much work. Maybe when I retire and have time try it.
Good info! Had to watch it a few times but I see what your doing and makes sense! Going to give this a try. Thanks
2 weeks ain't gonna be long enough for a mated queen. Closer to 30 days
Thank you for your comment. That is true if you start with fresh laid eggs in the upper chamber, but if you already have queen cells it will take less time. This is a general idea on how to manipulate the hives in the event that swarming is likely to happen.
A bumbling, confusing demonstration, and inaccurate representation of the time it take for the a new queen to mature and start laying.
This is a more advanced technique to manipulating the hives to prevent swarming, thus waste of resources. If you can watch other videos to understand the principle for this technique it will be easier to understand. This video demonstrates the logistics on how this is done. There is also a link of a flow chart above to help you understand the workflow.
She wasn't working
Lol!

OK, OK, OK...very confusing. Start by telling what the objective is before moving pieces all over. Maybe you can get some more traffic noise. The airplanes aren't distracting enough.
Sorry about the confusion. There is a flowchart on the comment above that will walk you through the process. You can also find other people description on the process to help you understand.
I love the beautiful crystals at the entrance.
Crystals give us energies right? I thought they would do the same for the bees ;)
Great video. Thanks for modeling the process.
That lavender looks a lot like rosemary
Yea, they smell different
nice
exelent
Thanks!
Thanks, maybe try some different music like Mozart
Hi, my bees like also sweet figs!!!
Did you get this from a study?
I didn't get the idea from a study. Someone talked about it in our bee club, I thought I give it a try.
Is that worker bee ok, she one on left with her face down in the green leaf not moving very much. I see her breathing so I know she's still alive but she's just kept standing there while all her sisters go around her.
Yea, she's fine. Her wings were fanning.
@@susiebeequeen3227 ok, was just making sure she was good.
I like the idea; Where did you purchase the bee waterer from?
Oh My , It's a Karen !!!!!
Not sure it works but it’s natural and so it’s worth a try.

Just as much as it "might help the bees" it might also "harm the bees". Random "science" is a poor decision to advocate for. As for many other posts here if you are going to say that "XYZ" treatment helps manage varroa please site your resources
Lavender is pretty harmless to the bees, they love lavender and are on the plant all the time when it blooms.
@@susiebeequeen3227 I very much appreciate your response, but a live Lavender plant can be a very different thing than a dead/dying one. For example, a plant eating animal can safely eat the leaves of a live Cherry Tree, but once the leaves are off the tree they start to have chemicals in the leaves break down into toxic cyanide based compounds that are toxic and can even be lethal to plant eating animals. What is to say this isn't the case with Lavender and bees? To say that there is a compound toxic enough to thwart mites is quite likely to be toxic to bees as well. It is just a word of caution that anecdotal evidence is very dangerous to promote until it has been rigorously researched and proven to do what you hope, otherwise there is the very real potential that it could actually do more harm than good.
Thanks. I was going to comment but you said it far better than I would have.
The rooster is very big.
Lindas meninas com flores.
Há pilhagem..
talvez um batedor
Best treatment is powderd sugar
I have yet to try that. I do use sugar roll to check mite counts.
My whatsap nomber sar
Your whatsap nomber ply sar
👍👍👍
👍👍👍
Intruder, going get her wings clipt, poor sucker
maybe, it confused own hive
ya maybe it was confused those vicious bitches maybe i should introduce a murder hornet AHH WHAT NOW oh no now i have a problem haha jokes but seriously, so much for coexistence
best treatment is formic pro- and its approved during the honeyflow
That is nice to know. So far oxalic acid is the only chemical I use, but only when there's no supers. It is nice to know there are other options. Thanks!
I am using hop guard.
我看到網上有的蜜蜂影片,竟有千萬以上的閱覽,加油啦~ 祝妳的影片火起來,上千萬喔 😄

Wow, there so mellow
This is a Carniolan queen hive, they are super mellow :)
Oiii
The music is perfect as the video’s background.
Thank you!
Next time skip the sound track. I want to hear only the bees.
My camera's slow motion won't allow sound recording. I will upload some videos with regular speed without sound tracks. I love the buzzing sound too :)
Thank you for your input! Varroa mites is a serious problem and we take it seriously. An integrated treatment practice is important. That includes keeping the hive healthy and doing regular mite checks and treating the mites when it's necessary.
I wonder if they only fan the landing board/entrance. Or are there bees inside below the bottom frames, also fanning. How do you thought about that before. Great camera angle, by the way.
Thanks for your complement! The bees are pretty good at coordinating, sometimes they do the fanning together and you can hear a much louder buzzing sound when they do that ;) It is important to set up the hive so that they can create an airflow to regulate temperature and humanity. I am amazed at what they can do!
That’s odd behavior!
Definitely different... They weren't that interested in lavender.
看起來非常甜蜜的甜點。
嗡嗡嗡~來做工~
雞仔寶寶真可愛~
From my experience, I would say do not rely on this treatment method alone. It doesn't work for some bees because they just try to cover it up instead of chewing them out, which is how it supposed to work.
